4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your SAHAUHY Dehumidifier:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future storage or transport.
- Placement: Place the unit upright on a firm, level surface in the desired location. Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around all sides for proper airflow.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord directly into a grounded 120V AC, 60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords.
- Drainage Options: The dehumidifier offers three drainage methods:
- Manual Drainage: The unit will collect water in its 1.14-gallon internal water tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and indicate that the tank needs to be emptied.
