Safety Information

Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your SENIX 4QL Gas String Trimmer. Ensure the spark plug wire is disconnected before beginning assembly.

1. Unpack the Box: Carefully open the product box and remove all components. Verify that all parts listed in the packing list are present.
2. Attach the Cutting Head Guard:
   • Remove the screw from the cutting head guard.
   • Insert the tab on the cutting head guard into the slot on the cutting head assembly.
   • Tighten the screw through the mounting bracket to secure the guard.
3. Connect the Shafts:
   • Remove the end cap from the lower shaft.
   • Insert the lower shaft into the coupler on the upper shaft. Rotate the lower shaft until the button locks into the positioning hole.
   • Tighten the coupler securely.
4. Install the Front D-Handle:
   • The front handle can be fixed in three positions. Select the suitable position according to the operator's body height.
   • Place the handle on the shaft at the desired position.
   • Tighten the four screws until the handle is secure.

Preparation for Operation

Before starting the trimmer, ensure proper fuel and oil levels.

1. Fill the Oil Tank:
   • Unscrew the oil tank cap.
   • Fill the oil tank with 2.01 oz. (60 ml) of oil SAE 30 or 10W30.
   • Securely replace the oil tank cap.
2. Fill the Fuel Tank:
   • Unscrew the fuel tank cap.
   • Fill the fuel tank with 9.46 oz. (280 ml) of unleaded gasoline fuel (maximum 10% ethanol).
   • Securely replace the fuel tank cap.

Starting and Stopping the Engine

Follow these steps to start and stop your SENIX 4QL Gas String Trimmer.

Starting Procedure:

1. Prime the Engine: Slowly press the primer bulb 5-10 times until fuel is visible in the bulb.
2. Set the Choke: Push the choke button in to set the choke to the FULL CHOKE position.
3. Pull the Starter Cord: Pull the starter grip/cord until resistance is detected. Rapidly pull 3 to 5 times or until you hear the engine turnover or begin to start.
4. Warm-up: Allow the engine to run for 10 seconds.
5. Engage Throttle: Squeeze the throttle to provide fuel to the engine and begin using the trimmer for your intended task.

Stopping Procedure:

• To stop the engine, depress the STOP switch to the "STOP" position.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your SENIX string trimmer.

• Spark Plug: Inspect the spark plug periodically. Clean or replace if necessary to ensure proper ignition.
