5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to prepare your sandwiches or paninis:

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Assemble your sandwich ingredients. For best results, use bread slices that fit the grill plates.
  2. Preheat: Close the sandwich maker and plug it into the power outlet. The red indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the appliance is preheating.
  3. Ready for Cooking: Once the appliance reaches the optimal cooking temperature, the green indicator light will illuminate. This indicates the sandwich maker is ready for use.
  4. Place Sandwich: Carefully open the sandwich maker using the cool-touch handle. Place your prepared sandwich onto the lower grill plate. Do not overfill.
  5. Close and Lock: Gently close the top cover and engage the safety lock. Do not force the lid shut.
  6. Cook: Allow the sandwich to cook for approximately 2-5 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, depending on your preference and ingredients. The green light may cycle on and off during cooking as the thermostat maintains temperature.
  7. Remove Sandwich: Once cooked, carefully open the sandwich maker. Use a heat-resistant plastic or wooden spatula to remove the sandwich. Do not use metal utensils, as they can damage the non-stick coating.
  8. Repeat: Close the lid to allow the appliance to reheat for the next sandwich (green light will illuminate again when ready).
  9. Finish: When finished cooking, unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
