Important Safety Instructions
Please read these instructions carefully before using your AREBOS kettle and keep them for future reference. Incorrect use can lead to hazards.
- Ensure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to your mains voltage before connecting.
- Do not immerse the kettle, power base, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
- Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
- Always place the kettle on a firm, flat, heat-resistant surface.
- Do not operate the kettle if the cord or plug is damaged, or if the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any way.
- This kettle features a dry-boil protection and overheating protection system (Otter-Controller) which automatically switches off the kettle if it is operated without sufficient water or if it overheats.
- The cool-touch handle remains comfortable to hold even when the water is boiling.
- All plastic components in contact with water are BPA-free and food-safe.

Setup and First Use
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the kettle and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water up to the MAX mark. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
- Positioning: Place the power base on a stable, flat, and dry surface. Ensure the power cord is not dangling or in contact with hot surfaces.
- Kettle Placement: The kettle can be placed on the 360-degree rotating base from any direction, suitable for both right and left-handed users.

Operating Instructions
- Filling the Kettle: Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX mark (1.8 liters). The transparent water level indicator allows for precise measurement.
- Closing the Lid: Ensure the lid is securely closed before operating.
- Placing on Base: Place the kettle firmly onto the power base.
- Switching On: Plug the power cord into a suitable wall socket. Press the ON/OFF switch downwards. The integrated LED light will illuminate, indicating that the kettle is heating.
- Boiling Process: The powerful 3000W heating element will boil the water quickly, typically within 3-5 minutes for a full kettle.
- Automatic Shut-off: Once the water has boiled, the kettle will automatically switch off, and the LED indicator will extinguish. You can also manually switch off the kettle by lifting the ON/OFF switch.
- Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from its base using the cool-touch handle and pour the hot water.

Maintenance and Cleaning
General Cleaning
- Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Never immerse the kettle or its power base in water.
Anti-Limescale Filter
- The kettle is equipped with a removable and easy-to-clean anti-limescale filter located in the pouring spout.
- To clean, remove the filter and rinse it under running water. If necessary, use a soft brush to remove stubborn deposits.
- Ensure the filter is properly re-inserted before using the kettle.

Descaling
- Regular descaling is important to maintain performance and prolong the life of your kettle, especially in areas with hard water.
- Use a commercially available descaling agent suitable for kettles, following the manufacturer's instructions.
- Alternatively, you can use a solution of white vinegar and water (1 part vinegar to 2 parts water). Fill the kettle with the solution, bring it to a boil, and let it stand for 30 minutes before discarding. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water several times.
