Setup Guide

1. Physical Installation

The Feit Electric Smart Camera is designed for outdoor use and wall mounting. Choose a location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within range of your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure the camera is positioned to capture critical areas while being protected from direct impact.

2. App Installation and Wi-Fi Connection

1. Download the Feit Electric App from your mobile device's app store (available for Android and iOS).
2. Create an account or log in if you already have one.
3. Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The camera only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
4. In the app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device. Select "Camera" under "Security & Cameras".
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to power on the camera and reset it if necessary (typically by pressing and holding the RESET button for 5 seconds until an audible tone is heard).
6. The app will guide you through connecting the camera to your Wi-Fi network. This usually involves scanning a QR code displayed on your phone with the camera.

3. MicroSD Card Installation (Optional)

The camera supports up to a 128GB MicroSD card (sold separately) for local video storage. This allows for recording up to 14,400 minutes (10 days) of video without monthly fees.

• Locate the MicroSD card slot on the camera.
• Carefully insert the MicroSD card into the slot until it clicks into place.
• Format the MicroSD card through the Feit Electric App settings for optimal performance.

Live View and Monitoring
