1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the B.K.Licht 3-Flame GU10 Ceiling Lamp. This modern ceiling light features three adjustable spotlights, allowing for flexible illumination in various indoor spaces. This manual provides essential information for safe installation, operation, and maintenance of your new lighting fixture. Please read these instructions carefully before installation and retain them for future reference.

2. Safety Instructions

WARNING: Electrical installation should only be performed by a qualified electrician. Incorrect installation can lead to electric shock, fire, or damage to the product.

• Always disconnect the main power supply before attempting any installation, maintenance, or bulb replacement.
• Ensure the voltage supply matches the fixture's requirements (230 Volts).
• This product is designed for indoor use only. Do not install in wet or damp locations.
• Use only GU10 bulbs with a maximum wattage of 9 watts per socket. Exceeding this limit can cause overheating and damage.
• Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.
• Do not cover the lamp with any materials that could obstruct heat dissipation.
• Keep packaging materials out of reach of children.

4. Setup and Installation

Before beginning installation, ensure the power supply to the installation area is switched off at the main circuit breaker.

1. Prepare the Mounting Location:

   Identify the desired ceiling location for the lamp. Ensure the surface is suitable for mounting and can support the weight of the fixture (0.66 kg). The mounting holes have a distance of 90 mm.

2. Attach the Mounting Bracket:

   Using the provided screws and wall plugs, securely attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling. Ensure it is firmly fixed and level.

3. Electrical Connection:

   Connect the household electrical wires to the terminal block on the lamp. Ensure correct polarity: Live (L), Neutral (N), and Earth (Ground). If you are unsure, consult a qualified electrician.

4. Mount the Fixture:

   Carefully align the lamp body with the mounting bracket and secure it using the provided screws. Ensure no wires are pinched during this process.

5. Insert GU10 Bulbs:

   Insert the GU10 bulbs into each of the three sockets. Push the bulb into the socket and twist clockwise to lock it in place.

6. Restore Power:

   Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the main circuit breaker.

5. Operating Instructions

• Turning On/Off: The lamp is operated via a standard wall switch connected to your electrical circuit.
• Adjusting Spotlights: Each of the three spotlights can be individually rotated and swiveled to direct light precisely where needed. Gently adjust the spotlights by hand.
• Dimmability: This fixture is compatible with dimmable GU10 LED bulbs and an appropriate dimmer switch (not included). Ensure both the bulbs and the dimmer switch are compatible with each other and suitable for LED lighting.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe the fixture with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the matte white finish.
• Bulb Replacement: Ensure the power is off and the bulbs have cooled down before attempting to replace them. Twist the old GU10 bulb counter-clockwise and pull it out. Insert the new GU10 bulb by pushing it in and twisting clockwise.
