Before First Use
Before using your BELLA Rapid Electric Egg Cooker for the first time, please follow these steps:
- Carefully unpack the egg cooker and remove all packaging materials.
- Wash the Stainless Steel Lid, Egg Tray, Poaching Tray, and Measuring Cup in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. These parts are also dishwasher safe.
- Wipe the Water Tray (heating plate) with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the appliance base in water.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before assembly and use.
Setup and Operation
General Setup
- Place the appliance base on a dry, flat, heat-resistant surface.
- Ensure the power switch is in the "OFF" position before plugging in.
Cooking Hard-Boiled, Medium-Boiled, or Soft-Boiled Eggs
- Using the provided measuring cup, fill water to the line corresponding to your desired egg consistency (Soft, Medium, or Hard) and the number of eggs.
- Pour the measured water directly onto the Water Tray (heating plate) in the appliance base.
- Place the Egg Tray on top of the Water Tray.
- Carefully pierce the large end of each egg with the piercing pin located at the bottom of the measuring cup. This prevents eggs from cracking during cooking.
- Place the pierced eggs onto the Egg Tray.
- Cover the Egg Cooker with the Stainless Steel Lid.
- Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
- Press the Power Switch to the "ON" position. The indicator light will illuminate.
- The egg cooker will automatically shut off when the water has evaporated and the eggs are cooked. The indicator light will turn off.
- Carefully remove the lid (steam will be hot) and the Egg Tray using the cool-touch handles.
- Immediately rinse the cooked eggs under cold water or place them in an ice bath to stop the cooking process and make them easier to peel.

Cooking Poached Eggs or Omelets
- Using the provided measuring cup, fill water to the appropriate line for poached eggs/omelets.
- Pour the measured water directly onto the Water Tray (heating plate).
- Lightly grease the Poaching Tray with cooking spray or butter.
- Break up to 3 eggs into the poaching cups, or pour your omelet mixture into the cups.
- Place the Poaching Tray on top of the Water Tray.
- Cover the Egg Cooker with the Stainless Steel Lid.
- Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
- Press the Power Switch to the "ON" position. The indicator light will illuminate.
- The egg cooker will automatically shut off when the water has evaporated and the eggs are cooked. The indicator light will turn off.
- Carefully remove the lid and the Poaching Tray. Use a non-metallic utensil to remove the poached eggs or omelets.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your egg cooker.
- Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- The Stainless Steel Lid, Egg Tray, Poaching Tray, and Measuring Cup are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them in warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
- Wipe the exterior of the appliance base with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.
- If mineral deposits accumulate on the Water Tray (heating plate), wipe them away with a damp cloth and a small amount of white vinegar or lemon juice. Rinse with a damp cloth and dry.
- Store the egg cooker in a dry place when not in use.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your egg cooker, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Eggs not cooked to desired consistency: Ensure the correct amount of water was used according to the measuring cup markings for your desired doneness.
- Eggs cracking during cooking: Always pierce the large end of each egg with the piercing pin before placing them in the egg tray.
- Appliance not turning on: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet and if the power switch is in the "ON" position.
- Mineral deposits on heating plate: Clean the heating plate as described in the "Cleaning and Maintenance" section.
