Operating Instructions

Cooking Boiled Eggs (Soft, Medium, Hard)

1. Measure Water: Use the provided measuring cup to add the appropriate amount of water to the heating plate in the base. The measuring cup has markings for Soft, Medium, and Hard boiled eggs.
2. Pierce Eggs: Using the piercing pin on the bottom of the measuring cup, gently pierce the large end of each egg. This prevents cracking during cooking.
3. Place Eggs: Place the boiling tray onto the base. Arrange up to 7 pierced eggs on the boiling tray.
4. Cover: Place the clear domed lid over the boiling tray and base.
5. Start Cooking: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. Press the power switch to the "ON" position. The indicator light will illuminate.
6. Automatic Shut-off: The egg cooker will automatically shut off and a buzzer will sound when the water has evaporated and the eggs are cooked.
7. Cool Down: Carefully remove the lid (steam will be hot). For best results with hard-boiled eggs, immediately transfer them to an ice bath to stop the cooking process and make them easier to peel.

Cooking Poached Eggs

1. Add Water: Add water to the heating plate in the base using the "Poached" marking on the measuring cup.
2. Prepare Poaching Tray: Lightly grease the poaching tray with cooking spray or a small amount of oil to prevent sticking.
3. Crack Eggs: Crack one egg into each section of the poaching tray (up to 2 eggs).
4. Assemble: Place the boiling tray onto the base, then place the poaching tray on top of the boiling tray.
5. Cover and Cook: Place the clear domed lid over the trays and base. Plug in and turn on the power switch.
6. Finish: The cooker will automatically shut off and buzz when done. Carefully remove the lid and poaching tray.
