Setup
1. Powering On
Locate the power switch on the underside of the mouse. Slide the switch to the 'On' position.

2. Connecting Your Mouse
The CadMouse Compact Wireless offers two connectivity options: USB receiver or Bluetooth.
Option A: USB Receiver (Dongle)
- Insert the provided USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- On the underside of the mouse, ensure the connectivity toggle switch is set to the USB receiver icon.
- The mouse should automatically connect.

Option B: Bluetooth Pairing
- On the underside of the mouse, ensure the connectivity toggle switch is set to the Bluetooth icon.
- Press and hold the 'Pairing' button on the underside of the mouse until the LED indicator begins to flash.
- On your computer or device, navigate to Bluetooth settings and select '3Dconnexion CadMouse Compact Wireless' from the list of available devices to complete pairing.

3. Driver Installation (Recommended)
For full functionality and customization, download and install the latest 3Dconnexion drivers and software from the official 3Dconnexion website. This software allows you to program the mouse buttons and adjust settings for specific applications.

Button Functions
The CadMouse Compact Wireless features 7 buttons, including a dedicated middle mouse button and side buttons, all of which can be customized.
- Left Click: Standard primary click function.
- Right Click: Standard secondary click function.
- Scroll Wheel: Used for vertical scrolling.
- Middle Mouse Button: A dedicated button for middle-click functionality, often used for orbiting or panning in CAD applications. This is separate from clicking the scroll wheel.
- Side Buttons (Forward/Backward): Two buttons located on the side of the mouse, typically used for navigation (e.g., forward/backward in web browsers) or can be programmed for specific commands in CAD software.
- Top Button: A button located near the scroll wheel, also programmable for custom functions.

Customization

Maintenance
Cleaning

Troubleshooting
- Mouse not responding:
Ensure the mouse is powered on and fully charged. Check the connectivity toggle switch on the underside to confirm it's set to the correct mode (USB receiver or Bluetooth). For USB, try a different port. For Bluetooth, re-initiate pairing. - Intermittent connectivity:
Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged in and not obstructed. For Bluetooth, ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and the mouse is within range. Update 3Dconnexion drivers. - Scroll wheel issues (skipping, jumping):
