Setup

Power Connection

  1. Ensure the unit is placed on a stable, flat surface.
  2. Connect the supplied AC/DC adapter to the DC IN jack on the unit.
  3. Plug the AC/DC adapter into a standard wall outlet. This unit operates on AC power only.

Memory Backup (Optional)

To retain time and alarm settings during a power outage, install 2 UM4 (AAA size) batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the unit. This function only backs up settings; the unit will not operate on battery power.

Initial Clock Setting

  1. With the unit powered on, press and hold the TIME SET button.
  2. Use the HOUR and MINUTE buttons to adjust the time.
  3. Press TIME SET again to confirm.

Operating Instructions

CD Player Operation

  1. Press the POWER button to turn on the unit.
  2. Press the MODE button to select CD mode.
  3. Open the CD compartment cover and place a CD (CDA or MP3 format) with the label side facing up.
  4. Close the CD compartment cover. The CD will begin playing automatically.
  5. Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP FORWARD, and SKIP BACKWARD buttons to control playback.

FM Radio Operation

  1. Press the POWER button to turn on the unit.
  2. Press the MODE button to select FM radio mode.
  3. Press and hold the TUNE +/- buttons to automatically scan for the next available station. Briefly press to manually adjust the frequency.
  4. Adjust the volume using the VOL +/- buttons.

Bluetooth Streaming

  1. Press the POWER button to turn on the unit.
  2. Press the MODE button to select Bluetooth mode. The display will show "BT" and the Bluetooth indicator will flash.
  3. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
  4. Search for "HX-330CD" in your device's Bluetooth list and select it to pair.
  5. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator will stop flashing, and you can play music from your device through the HX-330CD.

USB MP3 Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB MP3 Playback port.
  2. Press the MODE button to select USB mode.
  3. The unit will automatically detect and begin playing MP3 files from the USB drive.
  4. Use the playback control buttons (Play/Pause, Skip) to manage your music.

Aux-in Connection

  1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, tablet) to the AUX-IN jack using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
  2. Press the MODE button to select AUX mode.
  3. Play audio from your connected device. The sound will be output through the HX-330CD speakers.

Alarm Clock Functions

  1. Setting Alarms: Press and hold ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button. Use HOUR and MINUTE buttons to set the desired alarm time. Press the respective alarm button again to confirm.
  2. Alarm Source: After setting the time, press the alarm button repeatedly to cycle through wake-up options: Buzzer, Radio, or CD.
  3. Snooze Function: When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button to temporarily silence it for 9 minutes.
  4. Stopping Alarm: To turn off the alarm completely, press the POWER button or the corresponding ALARM 1/2 button.

Dimmer Function

Press the DIMMER button to adjust the brightness of the red LED display to your preference.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • CD Care: Handle CDs by their edges. Clean dirty CDs with a soft, lint-free cloth, wiping from the center outwards.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, unplug the unit from the power outlet.

Troubleshooting
