Operating Instructions
Control Panel Overview
The WashTower features a centrally located Full Touch Electronic Control Panel, providing easy access to both washer and dryer settings. The panel includes power buttons for each appliance, cycle selectors, and options for temperature, spin, and soil levels.

Loading the Washer and Dryer
Open the washer door (bottom unit) and load items. For the dryer (top unit), transfer washed items. Both units feature spacious stainless steel drums.

Detergent Dispenser
The washer includes a dispenser with 4 options for liquid detergent, pre-wash, liquid bleach, and fabric softener. Ensure you use High-Efficiency (HE) detergent as specified.

Available Cycles and Options
The WashTower offers a variety of cycles and special features:
- Washing Cycles (6): Normal, Heavy Duty, Bedding, Delicates, Speed Wash, Downloaded (via ThinQ app).
- Drying Cycles (6): Normal, Heavy Duty, Small Load, Bedding, Delicates, Downloaded (via ThinQ app).
- Special Features: Steam (Steam Fresh, Sanitary), Turbo Wash, Tub Clean, Reduce Static, Wrinkle Care, Extra Rinse, Pre-wash, Drum Light, Energy Saver.
Select the appropriate cycle based on fabric type and soil level. Adjust temperature, spin speed, and dry level as needed. For smart features, connect your appliance to the LG ThinQ app.
Maintenance
Tub Clean Cycle
Regularly use the 'Tub Clean' cycle to maintain the washer's interior and prevent odor buildup. Follow the instructions in the ThinQ app or on the control panel for optimal results.
Lint Filter Cleaning
Clean the dryer's lint filter before or after every load to ensure efficient drying and prevent fire hazards. The lint filter is typically located inside the dryer door opening.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your LG WashTower, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Appliance Not Starting: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in and the circuit breaker has not tripped.
- Excessive Vibration/Shaking: Verify that the appliance is level and all shipping bolts have been removed during installation. Uneven loads can also cause vibration.
- Poor Drying Performance: Check and clean the lint filter. Ensure the dryer vent is not blocked and the load size is appropriate for the selected cycle.
- Washer Not Draining: Inspect the drain hose for kinks or blockages.
