Setup and First Use
Unpacking
Carefully remove the toaster from its packaging. Remove all packaging materials, labels, and stickers. Ensure all components are present.
Initial Burn-Off
Before first use, operate the toaster without bread for at least 3 cycles on the highest setting (Level 6) in a well-ventilated area. This will burn off any manufacturing residues and odors. Some smoke and odor may be present during this process; this is normal.
Note: Do not insert bread during the initial burn-off cycles.

Operating Instructions
Placing Bread
Place up to two slices of bread, bagels, or other items into the extra-wide slots. The self-centering guides will adjust to hold the bread in place.

Selecting Browning Level
Turn the browning control knob to your desired shade setting, from 1 (lightest) to 6 (darkest).

Starting Toasting
Press the carriage lever down until it locks into place. The toasting cycle will begin. The toaster features an auto-jam and auto-shut off safety function, which will stop the cycle if bread gets stuck.
To stop the toasting cycle at any time, press the CANCEL button.
The high-lift lever allows for easy removal of smaller items once toasting is complete.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Cleaning the Crumb Tray
To clean the crumb tray, first ensure the toaster is unplugged and completely cool. Slide out the removable crumb tray located at the bottom of the toaster. Discard crumbs and wipe the tray clean with a damp cloth. Reinsert the tray securely.

Exterior Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the toaster with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as these can scratch the stainless steel finish. Ensure the toaster is completely dry before plugging it back in.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Toaster does not turn on. | Not plugged in; power outlet malfunction; circuit breaker tripped. | Ensure the toaster is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check your circuit breaker. |
| Bread is stuck in the slots. | Oversized food item; mechanical jam. | Unplug the toaster. Carefully remove the bread using non-metallic tongs. Do not use metal utensils. |
| Uneven toasting. | Inconsistent bread thickness; crumb buildup. | Ensure bread slices are of similar thickness. Clean the crumb tray regularly. |
| Smoke or burning smell. | Food stuck; excessive crumbs; initial burn-off. | Immediately press CANCEL and unplug. Remove any stuck food or clean crumb tray. If it's the first use, this is normal during burn-off. |
