Maintenance

Cleaning the Grinder

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your grinder.

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the grinder before cleaning.
  2. Remove Hopper and Chamber: Remove the bean hopper and ground coffee chamber. Empty any remaining beans or grounds.
  3. Clean Hopper and Chamber: Wash the bean hopper, its lid, and the ground coffee chamber with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
  4. Clean Burrs: Remove the upper burr by twisting it counter-clockwise and lifting it out. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any coffee residue from both the upper and lower burrs. You can also use the brush to clean the grinding chute.
  5. Wipe Base: Wipe the exterior of the motor base with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the base in water.
  6. Reassemble: Once all parts are dry, reassemble the grinder by placing the upper burr back into position and twisting clockwise until it locks. Reattach the bean hopper and ground coffee chamber.
