Introduction

Thank you for choosing the TTY Store 4 Wheels Pet Stroller. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your pet stroller. Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain them for future reference.

This pet stroller is designed to provide a comfortable and secure way to transport your small to medium-sized pets, such as dogs and cats, weighing up to 25 pounds. It features a lightweight, foldable design, durable wheels, and convenient storage options.

Safety Information

  • Always ensure your pet is securely fastened inside the stroller using a harness or leash attached to the internal safety clip (if available).
  • Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 25 pounds (11.3 kg).
  • Engage the rear brakes when the stroller is stationary to prevent accidental movement.
  • Never leave your pet unattended in the stroller, especially on inclines or near traffic.
  • Keep fingers and hands clear of moving parts, especially during folding and unfolding.
  • Regularly inspect the stroller for any signs of wear, damage, or loose parts. Do not use if damaged.
  • Avoid using the stroller on rough terrain or steep slopes that could compromise stability.

Package Contents

Please verify that all components are present before assembly:

  • Pet Stroller Frame with main compartment
  • 4 Wheels (2 front swivel, 2 rear with brake)
  • Removable Liner/Pad
  • Storage Basket (pre-attached or separate)
  • Cup Holders/Center Tray (pre-attached or separate)

Setup and Assembly

  1. Unfolding the Stroller: Place the folded stroller on a flat surface. Release any locking mechanisms. Gently pull the handle upwards and spread the frame until it locks into the open position. Ensure all frame joints are securely engaged.
  2. Attaching the Wheels: Insert the front swivel wheels into their designated slots on the front legs until they click into place. Attach the rear wheels to the rear axle, ensuring the brake mechanism is correctly aligned. Pull on each wheel to confirm it is securely attached.
  3. Installing the Removable Liner: Place the soft, removable pad inside the main pet compartment for comfort.
  4. Attaching Cup Holders/Storage Basket: If not pre-attached, secure the cup holders to the handle and the storage basket to the lower frame according to the design.

Operating Instructions

  1. Placing Your Pet: Open the zippered entrance of the main compartment. Gently place your pet inside. Ensure they have enough space and are comfortable. Close the zippers securely.
  2. Securing Your Pet: If your pet wears a harness or collar, attach it to the internal safety leash provided within the stroller compartment. This prevents your pet from jumping out.
  3. Using the Brakes: To engage the rear brakes, press down on the brake levers located near the rear wheels. To release, lift the levers. Always engage the brakes when the stroller is stationary.
  4. Maneuvering: The front wheels are designed to swivel 360 degrees for easy navigation. For stability on uneven terrain, you may lock the front swivel wheels by pushing down the locking mechanism on each front wheel assembly.
  5. Using Storage: Utilize the cup holders for beverages and the lower storage basket for pet essentials, personal items, or groceries.
  6. Folding for Storage: To fold the stroller, ensure your pet is removed. Locate the folding mechanism (usually a latch or button near the handle or side frame). Follow the reverse steps of unfolding to collapse the stroller into a compact size. Secure with any locking clips.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Fabric: The stroller features waterproof material. For minor spills or dirt, wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry completely before folding or storing.
  • Cleaning the Removable Pad: The internal pad can be removed for cleaning. Hand wash with mild detergent and air dry. Do not bleach or tumble dry.
  • Wheel Maintenance: Periodically check the wheels for debris (hair, dirt) and remove them. Lubricate axles if wheels become stiff.
  • Storage: Store the stroller in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight when not in use.

Troubleshooting

  • Stroller does not fold/unfold smoothly: Ensure all locking mechanisms are disengaged before folding. Check for any obstructions in the frame joints. Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to moving parts if necessary.
  • Wheels are stiff or squeaky: Remove any hair or debris from the wheel axles. Apply a silicone-based lubricant to the axle points.
  • Zippers are difficult to operate: Ensure the fabric is not caught in the zipper teeth. Apply a zipper lubricant or rub a pencil lead along the teeth to smooth operation.
  • Stroller feels unstable: Verify that all wheels are securely attached and the frame is fully locked into the open position. Avoid overloading the stroller beyond its weight capacity.
