Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to correctly set up your Babylo Oasis Travel Cot:

1. Unfold the Frame: Remove the cot from its travel bag. Stand the cot upright and separate the legs slightly. Pull the two short sides of the frame upwards until they lock into place. Then, pull the two long sides upwards until they lock. Ensure all four sides are rigid and locked.
2. Push Down the Base: Once the sides are locked, push down the center of the base until it lies flat and is fully extended.
3. Insert Mattress: Place the padded mattress firmly into the base of the cot.
4. Install Bassinet (Optional): For newborns, attach the bassinet to the upper rails of the cot using the provided clips or zippers. Ensure it is securely fastened on all sides. Place the mattress inside the bassinet.

Operating Modes

1. Co-Sleeper Mode

The co-sleeper function allows you to keep your baby close to you during the night. To use this mode, ensure the cot is positioned securely next to your bed. Lower one of the mesh side panels by unzipping or releasing the side mechanism. Secure the cot to your bed using the provided straps (if applicable) to prevent any gaps between the cot and your mattress. The bassinet level is ideal for this mode.

2. Standalone Cot Mode

For use as a traditional standalone cot, ensure all four side panels are locked in the upright position. For newborns, use the bassinet insert. As your child grows and reaches the 9kg weight limit or can push up on hands and knees, remove the bassinet and use the lower base level. This provides a safe and spacious sleeping area for toddlers up to 15kg.

3. Changing Mat Use

The removable changing mat can be easily placed on top of the cot frame, providing a convenient and ergonomic surface for changing your baby. Ensure the changing mat is securely attached to the cot frame before use. Always supervise your child while using the changing mat.

Folding for Travel

1. Remove Mattress and Bassinet: Take out the mattress and any bassinet insert.
2. Pull Up Base: Pull the central strap or handle on the base upwards to disengage the base lock.
3. Release Side Rails: Locate the release buttons or levers on the middle of each side rail. Press these mechanisms to unlock and fold each side rail downwards. Start with the long sides, then the short sides.
4. Collapse Frame: Bring all four corners of the frame together, collapsing the cot into a compact shape.
5. Secure for Storage: Wrap the mattress around the folded frame and secure it with the attached straps (if present). Place the entire unit into the provided travel bag.

Care and Maintenance
