Setup and Installation
1. Unpacking and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all accessories listed in the packing list are present and undamaged. Keep the packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Charging Station Placement
Place the charging station against a wall in an open area, ensuring there are no obstacles within 1 meter to the sides and 2 meters in front. Connect the AC adapter to the charging station and plug it into a power outlet.

3. Initial Charging
Place the robot onto the charging station. Ensure the charging contacts on the robot align with those on the station. The indicator light on the robot will show charging status. Allow approximately 6 hours for a full charge before first use.
4. App Installation and Pairing (ETA smart app)
- Download the "ETA smart" app from your mobile device's app store.
- Register or log in to your account.
- Follow the in-app instructions to add your ETA Aron Black robot. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz.
- The app allows for remote control, scheduling, and monitoring of cleaning progress.

5. Dust Container and Water Tank Installation
The robot comes with a 300ml dust container and a 300ml water tank. For vacuuming, ensure the dust container is properly inserted. For wet mopping, fill the water tank and attach the drying protection (mop cloth) before inserting it into the robot.

Operating Instructions
1. Cleaning Programs
The robot offers four distinct cleaning programs:
- SMART: Intelligent navigation for comprehensive cleaning of the entire area.
- Classic: Standard cleaning mode.
- EDGE: Focuses on cleaning along walls and edges.
- SPOT: Concentrated cleaning in a specific small area.
Select your desired program via the ETA smart app or the included remote control.

2. Suction Effect Adjustment
Choose between two suction effect stages:
- Standard: For everyday cleaning and lighter debris.
- Maximum: For deeper cleaning and stubborn dirt.
3. Programmable Cleaning Times
Utilize the ETA smart app to set programmable cleaning times, allowing the robot to clean automatically at your convenience.
4. Virtual Wall Barrier
The virtual wall barrier feature allows you to define areas where the robot should not enter. This can be configured through the smart app.
5. Floor Compatibility
The robot is suitable for all floor types and can navigate over mat heights up to 1 cm. It can overcome performance heights up to 1.5 cm.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your robot vacuum cleaner.
1. Dust Container Emptying
Empty the 300ml dust container after each cleaning cycle or when full. Press the "PUSH" button to release the container, empty its contents, and reinsert it securely.
2. Filter Cleaning (HEPA Filter)
The HEPA filter should be cleaned regularly (e.g., weekly) using the provided cleaning tool or a soft brush. Do not wash the HEPA filter with water. Replace the filter periodically as recommended in the full manual.
3. Side Brush Cleaning and Replacement
Inspect the two side brushes regularly for tangled hair or debris. Clean them as needed. If brushes are worn or damaged, replace them to maintain effective edge cleaning.

4. Main Brush Cleaning
Remove the main brush from its compartment on the underside of the robot. Use the cleaning tool to remove any tangled hair or fibers. Reinstall the brush securely.
5. Water Tank and Drying Protection Cleaning
After mopping, empty any remaining water from the 300ml water tank. Remove and wash the drying protection (mop cloth) with water. Allow both to air dry completely before reassembly.

6. Sensor Cleaning
Wipe the anti-collision sensors and anti-fall sensors (12 sensors) on the robot with a soft, dry cloth to ensure they remain free of dust and debris. Clean the charging contacts on both the robot and the charging station.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your ETA Aron Black robot, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
