Operating Instructions

The DualHeat Donovan offers flexible operation for its fire pit and patio heater functions.

1. Before First Use: Perform a leak test on all gas connections as instructed in the full manual.
2. Accessing Controls: Open the hidden door to access the control panel.
3. Igniting the Fire Pit:
   • Ensure the propane tank valve is fully open.
   • Push and turn the main burner control knob to the "IGNITE" position.

   • Adjust the flame height using the main burner control knob.
4. Activating the Patio Heater:
   • Locate the separate control knob for the lower patio heater.
   • Push and turn this knob to the "IGNITE" position.
   • Hold the knob in until the heater element is active.

5. Using as a Table: To convert the unit into a table, ensure both the fire pit and patio heater are off and cooled. Place the steel table insert over the fire bowl. The table insert can be stored on the inside of the compartment door when not in use.
6. Shutting Down:
   • Turn both the fire pit and patio heater control knobs to the "OFF" position.
   • Close the valve on the propane tank.
   • Allow the unit to cool completely before covering or moving.
