Note: Car adapter and European plug are NOT included.

Setup

Battery Installation

1. Identify the battery compartment on your compatible camcorder or device.
2. Align the battery contacts with the contacts in the compartment. Ensure correct polarity.
3. Gently slide the battery into the compartment until it clicks into place or is securely seated.
4. Close the battery compartment cover, if applicable.

Charger Connection

1. Locate the foldable flat pin on the AC wall charger.
2. Extend the flat pin for use.
3. Plug the charger directly into a standard AC 100-240V 50/60Hz wall outlet.

Operating Instructions

Charging the Battery

1. Ensure the AC wall charger is plugged into a power outlet.
2. Insert one of the Kastar batteries into the charging slot on the AC wall charger. Ensure the battery is seated correctly and the contacts align.
3. Observe the LED indicator on the charger:
   • A red light indicates that the battery is currently charging.
   • A green light indicates that the battery is fully charged or the charger is in standby mode (no battery inserted).
4. Once the LED turns green, the battery is fully charged and ready for use. Remove the battery from the charger.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

• Battery not charging:

  • Check for any debris or corrosion on the battery or charger contacts and clean if necessary.
• Short battery life:
  • Ensure batteries are fully charged before use (green LED on charger).
  • Battery performance can degrade over time with repeated charge cycles.
  • Operating in extremely cold environments can reduce battery life.
• Charger LED not illuminating:
  • Confirm the wall outlet has power. Try plugging in another device.
  • Ensure the charger's foldable prongs are fully extended and making proper contact.
