4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Battery
- Connect the Li-ion rapid charger to a standard 230 V power outlet.
- Insert the Li-ion battery into the charger. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
- Allow the battery to charge fully. The charger's indicator light will signal when charging is complete.
- Once charged, remove the battery from the charger.

4.2 Installing the Battery
- Ensure the pipe bender is switched off.
- Align the charged battery with the battery slot on the main tool.
- Slide the battery into the slot until it locks firmly into position.
- To remove, press the release button (if present) and slide the battery out.
4.3 Selecting and Installing Bending Segments
Choose the appropriate bending segment and sliding piece corresponding to the pipe diameter you intend to bend (e.g., 15 mm, 18 mm, or 22 mm).

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 General Operation
- Ensure the battery is charged and correctly installed.
- Select and install the appropriate bending segment and sliding piece for your pipe diameter.
- Insert the pipe into the tool, ensuring it is properly seated against the bending segment and sliding piece.
- Hold the tool firmly with both hands.
- Activate the tool by pressing the trigger. The tool will begin to bend the pipe.
- Monitor the bending angle. The tool features a rapid and deceleration function with an immediate stop for precise bending. Release the trigger once the desired angle is achieved.
- Once the bend is complete, release the trigger and remove the bent pipe from the tool.

5.2 Changing Bending Segments and Sliding Pieces
The REMS Curvo 22 V allows for quick changes of bending segments and sliding pieces.
- Ensure the tool is switched off and the battery is removed for safety.
- Carefully remove the currently installed bending segment and sliding piece.
- Select the new desired bending segment and sliding piece.
- Install the new components as described in Section 4.3.
