Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your new NKF replacement remote control. This remote is designed to be compatible with various Element LCD and LED TV models, offering full functionality without the need for complex programming.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

The remote control requires two (2) AAA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install them:

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Press down on the tab and slide the cover downwards to open the compartment.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

Note: This remote control does not require any programming or pairing. Once batteries are installed, it is ready for use with compatible Element TV models.

Operating Instructions

Point the remote control directly at the infrared sensor on your Element TV. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV.

Key Functions:

• POWER (●): Turns the TV on or off.
• P.MODE / S.MODE: Picture Mode / Sound Mode selection.
• SLEEP: Sets the TV sleep timer.
• ASPECT: Changes the screen aspect ratio.
• Numerical Buttons (0-9): Directly input channel numbers.
• VOL (+/-): Adjusts the volume level.
• CH (+/-): Changes the channel up or down.
• MUTE: Mutes or unmutes the TV sound.
• SOURCE: Selects input sources (HDMI, AV, Component, etc.).
• MENU: Opens the TV's main menu.
• INFO: Displays current channel information.
• Navigation Buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right, OK): Navigate through menus and confirm selections.
• RETURN: Returns to the previous menu or screen.
• EXIT: Exits the current menu.
• CH.LIST: Displays the channel list.
• Media Control Buttons (Play, Pause, Stop, Rewind, Fast Forward, Skip): Control media playback (if supported by TV).
• REPEAT: Repeats current media playback.
• AUTO: Auto-tune function.
• C.C: Closed Captioning.
• V-CHIP: Accesses V-Chip settings for parental control.
• FAV: Accesses favorite channels.
• ADD/ERASE: Adds or erases channels.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Remote:

To maintain the remote control's appearance and functionality, wipe it regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.

Battery Replacement:

Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type (AAA). Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

Storage:

Store the remote control in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

• Remote not responding:
  • Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
  • Replace old batteries with new ones.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the TV's infrared sensor.
  • Make sure you are within the effective operating range of the TV.
• Certain buttons not working:
  • This remote is a replacement and may not support all functions of every original Element TV remote. Verify if the function is supported by your specific TV model.
  • Clean the remote control, especially around the unresponsive buttons, to remove any dirt or debris.
• Remote does not control the TV:
  • Confirm that your TV model is listed as compatible with this remote control (ELEFT326, ELEFT407, ELEFW328C, ELEFW248, ELEFT195, ELEFW581, ELEFW505, ELEFT506, ELEFW247, ELEFW504).
