2. Setup

2.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove all items from the packaging. Verify that all components listed in the "What's in the Box" section are present and undamaged. If any items are missing or damaged, contact customer support immediately.

2.2 Inserting SIM Cards

The OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G supports Dual-SIM functionality. Follow these steps to insert your SIM cards:

  1. Locate the SIM card tray on the side of the device.
  2. Insert the SIM ejector tool (if provided) into the small hole next to the tray and push gently until the tray pops out.
  3. Place your Nano-SIM cards into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure the gold contacts face downwards and the cut corner aligns correctly.
  4. Carefully reinsert the SIM card tray into the phone until it clicks into place.

Important Note:

  • This smartphone is not compatible with CDMA networks (e.g., Verizon, Sprint, US Cellular). Please verify network compatibility with your provider before use.
  • The internal storage of 128GB cannot be expanded with an external memory card.

2.3 Powering On and Initial Configuration

Press and hold the Power button (located on the right side) until the OPPO logo appears. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial setup, which includes:

To make a call, open the Phone app and dial the number or select a contact. For messaging, use the Messages app to send and receive SMS/MMS. Ensure your SIM card is active and has network coverage.
