The TreasLin HSV326F is a standalone 1080P HDMI recorder designed for capturing video without the need for a PC. It supports one-click recording from various HDMI output devices, saving video files directly to a USB flash drive or mobile hard disk.

Safety Information

To ensure safe operation and prevent data loss or device damage, adhere to the following guidelines:

• Avoid Hot Plugging: Always insert the USB flash drive into the device before connecting the power adapter.
• Safe Removal: Always disconnect the power from the recorder before removing the USB flash drive. Failure to do so may corrupt recorded files or damage the storage device.

Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your TreasLin Screen Capture Recorder:

1. Connect Power: Connect the provided 12V1A AC adapter to the "DC 12V" port on the recorder and plug it into a power outlet.

2. Connect HDMI Input: Connect your HDMI source device (e.g., game console, TV box, PC) to the "HDMI IN" port on the recorder using an HDMI cable.

3. Connect HDMI Output (Loopout): Connect your display device (e.g., monitor, TV) to the "HDMI OUT" port on the recorder using another HDMI cable. This allows you to view the content while recording without latency.

4. Insert USB Storage: Insert a USB flash drive (up to 64GB) or a mobile hard disk (up to 2TB) into the "USB" port on the recorder. Ensure the storage device is formatted in either NTFS or FAT32. NTFS is recommended for recording large files as FAT32 splits files larger than 2GB.

5. Connect Audio (Optional): If desired, connect a 3.5mm headset to the headphone output port or a TRS microphone to the MIC input port for audio mixing during recording.

Operating Instructions

The TreasLin recorder features a simple one-button operation for recording:

1. Select Resolution: Short press the central "REC" touch button to switch between 720P and 1080P recording resolutions. The corresponding LED indicator (720P or 1080P) will light up.

2. Start/Stop Recording: Long press the "REC" touch button for approximately 3 seconds to start or stop recording. The device will provide a vibration prompt to confirm the action. While recording, a thin white LED line will illuminate and "pipeline" from the input to the output end of the recorder.

3. Accessing Recordings: After recording, safely remove the USB disk as per the safety instructions. The recorded videos will be saved as MP4 files on the USB flash drive.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your TreasLin Screen Capture Recorder, consider the following common solutions:

• No Audio in Recording:
  • Ensure your source device's audio output is correctly routed to the recorder.
  • If recording from a PC, verify that the Windows audio playback settings are configured to use the monitor's audio output port (if applicable) while recording.
  • For microphone input, ensure you are using a TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) microphone, not a TRRS (Tip-Ring-Ring-Sleeve) type, as specified by the manufacturer.
• Recording Stops Prematurely or Device Overheats:
  • Ensure the device is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Prolonged use or poor ventilation can cause the device to become hot, potentially affecting performance.
  • Verify that the power supply is adequate (12V1A).
• No HDMI Signal Recognition:
  • Check all HDMI cable connections to ensure they are secure. Try different HDMI cables if possible.
  • Ensure the source device is powered on and outputting an HDMI signal.
  • If recording from a PC, try adjusting the display refresh rate to 30Hz (instead of 29.97Hz) if you experience issues with signal recognition.
• Incorrect Timestamp on Recordings:
  • Some users have reported incorrect timestamps. This typically does not affect the video content itself.
