Hardware Kit Overview

Image: Detailed view of Barkan's Hardware Kit, including various wall mounting screws, Barkan's wall anchors, TV mounting screws (M8, M6, M4), metal washers, and plastic spacers. It also shows different types of screws and anchors with their features.
The hardware kit includes components for both wall mounting and TV mounting. Wall screws are designed for concrete, block, and wood walls. Anchors feature fins and grip points for maximum friction and expanding action to prevent disengagement. TV mounting screws (M8, M6, M4) are compatible with 90% of popular TVs. If your TV requires different screen-connection screws, please obtain them from a local hardware store or contact Barkan support.
Installation Steps
Follow these three simple steps for assembly:
- Attach the adapters to the rear side of the TV: Secure the TV plate to the back of your television using the appropriate screws and spacers from the hardware kit. Ensure a snug fit.
- Install the bracket on the wall: Mark the desired location on your wall. Use a stud finder for wood studs or appropriate drilling techniques for concrete. Drill pilot holes and securely fasten the wall bracket using the provided wall screws and anchors. Use a level to ensure the bracket is perfectly horizontal.
- Snap the TV onto the bracket: Carefully lift the TV with the attached adapters and hook it onto the wall bracket. Ensure the TV is securely seated and the locking mechanism engages.

It notes that all TV backscreen connections are in millimeters (Width x Height) and that adapters are used for certain positions.
The mount supports various VESA patterns. Refer to the diagram above to identify the correct backscreen connection positioning for your TV. The adapters included in the kit are used for specific positions to ensure compatibility with different TV plate sizes.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and safe operation of your Barkan BM320 TV Wall Mount, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure. Loose connections can compromise stability.
- Cleaning: Clean the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
- Lubrication: The swivel and tilt mechanisms are designed for smooth operation. If any stiffness occurs, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to moving parts, avoiding contact with electrical components.
- Weight Limit: Never exceed the maximum weight capacity of 88 lbs (40 kg). Overloading can lead to mount failure and potential injury.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Barkan BM320 TV Wall Mount, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- TV is not level: Use the ±5° leveling adjustment feature to correct the horizontal alignment. Ensure the wall bracket was installed level initially.
- Mount feels loose or unstable: Immediately remove the TV from the mount. Re-check all wall mounting screws and TV attachment screws for tightness. Ensure the wall material is appropriate and the anchors are properly engaged. If the issue persists, consult a professional installer.
- Difficulty swiveling or tilting: Check for any obstructions behind the TV or around the mount. Ensure no cables are snagged. If the movement is stiff, apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the moving joints.
- TV does not fit the mount: Verify your TV's VESA pattern against the mount's specifications (75x75mm to 400x400mm). Ensure the TV weight does not exceed 88 lbs (40 kg).
If these steps do not resolve your issue, please contact Barkan customer support for further assistance.
