Emergency Recording (G-Sensor)

  • The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or rapid acceleration/deceleration.
  • When an event is detected, the current recording segment is automatically locked and protected from being overwritten.
  • You can manually trigger an emergency recording by pressing the designated button (often marked with a lock icon).

Parking Monitor

  • The parking monitor feature allows the dashcam to record events while your vehicle is parked.
  • This feature typically activates when the vehicle is stationary and detects motion or impact.
  • Ensure the dashcam is connected to a constant power supply (e.g., via a hardwire kit, sold separately) for continuous parking monitoring.

Night Vision

  • The Neoline X76 is equipped with night vision technology to enhance video clarity in low-light conditions.
  • This feature operates automatically to provide better visibility of details during nighttime recordings.

Menu Navigation and Settings

  • Use the tactile buttons on the device to navigate through the menu options displayed on the 2-inch screen.
  • Common settings include:
    • Video Resolution (1080p recommended)
    • Loop Recording Duration
    • G-Sensor Sensitivity
    • Parking Mode Settings
    • Date/Time Stamp
    • Microphone On/Off

Maintenance

Cleaning the Device

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the dashcam body and screen.
  • For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution to avoid scratches.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

MicroSD Card Management

  • It is recommended to format the MicroSD card monthly to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption.
  • Always turn off the dashcam before inserting or removing the MicroSD card to prevent damage to the card or device.
  • Replace the MicroSD card periodically (e.g., every 6-12 months) as continuous overwriting can degrade its lifespan.

Firmware Updates

  • Check the official Neoline website periodically for available firmware updates.
  • Firmware updates can improve performance, add new features, or fix bugs.
  • Follow the instructions provided with the firmware update carefully to avoid damaging the device.

Troubleshooting

  • Dashcam not powering on:
    • Ensure the car charger is properly connected to both the dashcam and the vehicle's 12V outlet.
    • Check if the vehicle's 12V outlet is functioning (e.g., by testing with another device).
    • Try a different USB cable or car charger if available.
  • Recording issues (e.g., freezing, corrupted files):
    • Format the MicroSD card within the dashcam's settings.
    • Ensure you are using a high-speed (Class 10 or U1/U3) MicroSD card from a reputable brand.
    • Replace the MicroSD card if the issue persists.
  • Poor video quality:
    • Clean the camera lens and windshield.
    • Ensure the CPL filter is correctly installed and adjusted to reduce glare.
    • Check video resolution settings; ensure it is set to 1080p.
  • Dashcam restarts unexpectedly:
    • This could indicate a power supply issue. Ensure the car charger is providing stable power.
    • Format the MicroSD card.
    • Perform a factory reset via the settings menu.
  • Rear camera not working:
    • Check the cable connection between the rear camera and the main unit.
