LED Indicator Status
| Indicator Status | Power Ratio | Statements |
|---|---|---|
| Empty battery icon | No power | No power |
| Battery icon with one bar | 6% - 25% | One LED on |
| Battery icon with two bars | 26% - 50% | Two LEDs on |
| Battery icon with three bars | 51% - 75% | Three LEDs on |
| Full battery icon | 76% - 100% | Four LEDs on |
When the battery icon shows full bars, the battery is fully charged. Remove the batteries from the charger once charging is complete.
Maintenance
- Keep the charger and batteries clean and dry. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth if necessary.
- Store the charger and batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Do not disassemble the charger or batteries.
- Avoid dropping or subjecting the charger and batteries to strong impacts.
Troubleshooting
- Charger not powering on:
- Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the charger and the power source.
- Verify that the power source (e.g., wall adapter, laptop) is functional and providing sufficient power (5V 2-3A).
- Try a different USB cable or power source.
- Batteries not charging:
- Check that the batteries are correctly inserted into the charger slots with the correct polarity.
- Ensure the batteries are compatible with this charger (Ni-MH, 6.0V).
- If the batteries are severely depleted, they may take a few minutes to register on the charger.
- Inspect battery terminals for dirt or corrosion and clean if necessary.
- Slow charging:
- Ensure your USB power source provides at least 5V 2A output. Lower current sources will result in slower charging.
- Avoid charging in excessively hot environments, as this can affect charging efficiency.
