  2. Place a bowl or container under the grinder head to collect the minced meat.
  3. Turn the appliance ON using the switch.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your meat grinder.

Disassembled meat grinder parts for hand washing

Image: All detachable parts of the meat grinder laid out, emphasizing that they are designed for hand washing only and are not dishwasher safe.

  1. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Disassemble all removable parts: hopper plate, fixing ring, cutting plate, cutting blade, auger, and grinder head.
  3. Hand Wash Only: Wash all detachable parts by hand with warm soapy water (under 122°F / 50°C).
  4. Use a brush to remove any remaining meat residue from the components.
  5. Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water.
  6. Important: Dry all parts immediately and completely with a towel to prevent oxidation, especially for aluminum alloy components. Do not air dry.
  7. The main motor unit can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water.
  8. Store the cleaned and dried parts in a dry place.

Note: Aluminum alloy parts (grinder head, fixing ring, hopper plate) may oxidize and turn dark if washed in a dishwasher. The 420-stainless steel blades and plates, and BPA-free plastic parts, are dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended for all parts to ensure longevity.
