Setup and Installation
Tools Required (not included): Screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape, ladder, safety glasses.
- Prepare for Installation: Turn off power at the circuit breaker. Ensure the mounting surface is structurally sound to support the fixture's weight (6.19 kg).
- Install Mounting Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket from the hardware kit to the junction box in the ceiling using the provided screws.
- Adjust Height (if applicable): The pendant features adjustable height. Determine the desired hanging length and adjust the rod accordingly before wiring.
- Wire Connections: Connect the fixture's wires to the corresponding household wires (black to black, white to white, ground to ground) using wire nuts. Secure connections with electrical tape.
- Secure Canopy: Carefully push the wired fixture up to the ceiling, aligning the mounting screws on the bracket with the holes in the canopy. Secure the canopy with the decorative nuts.
- Install Bulbs: Screw three E26 Medium base incandescent bulbs (max 60 watts each) into the sockets.
- Attach Shade and Crystals: Carefully attach the semi-opaque pleated drum shade to the fixture. Then, individually hang the clear glass teardrop accents onto the designated hooks or loops on the fixture. Refer to Figure 2 for crystal placement.

Operating Instructions
Once installation is complete and verified, restore power at the circuit breaker.
- Turning On/Off: Operate the pendant light using a standard wall switch connected to the fixture's circuit.
- Dimming Function: This fixture is dimmable. If connected to a compatible dimmer switch (sold separately), you can adjust the light intensity. Ensure you use dimmable incandescent bulbs for optimal performance.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and appearance of your pendant light.
- Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the metal finish. For the pleated drum shade, a soft brush or vacuum with a brush attachment can be used to remove dust. The glass teardrop crystals can be gently wiped with a damp cloth and then dried. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Bulb Replacement: Ensure power is off. Allow bulbs to cool completely before replacing. Unscrew old bulbs and screw in new E26 Medium base incandescent bulbs (max 60 watts).
- Inspection: Periodically check all connections and mounting hardware for tightness.
