  • Adjustable water height: 7 to 14 inches.
  • Anti-Siphon design.
  • Water-saving functionality.
  • Constructed from corrosion-resistant materials.
  • Universal fit for 1 and 2-piece toilets with 7/8" bottom water feed.
  • Integrated 7/8" strainer to capture sediment, allowing for easier servicing.

  • NuFlush Fast Fill Tower Valve
  • Refill Tube
  • Mounting Nut and Washer
  • Strainer (pre-installed or separate)

Setup and Installation

Before starting, ensure the water supply to the toilet is turned off and the tank is empty. Remove the old fill valve according to its manufacturer's instructions.

  1. Prepare the Valve: The NuFlush Tower Valve is adjustable. Locate the small clip at the bottom of the valve. This clip can be removed if desired, though it is not always necessary for adjustment.
  2. Adjust Height: The valve's height can be adjusted by pulling or pushing the upper section. Once the desired height is reached, twist the sections slightly to lock them in place. The top of the fill valve should be approximately 1 inch below the overflow tube of the flush valve.
  3. Install Valve in Tank: Insert the threaded shank of the new fill valve through the hole in the bottom of the toilet tank. Ensure the rubber washer is correctly seated on the outside of the tank. Secure the valve with the provided mounting nut, tightening it by hand until snug. Do not overtighten.
  4. Connect Refill Tube: Attach one end of the refill tube to the small port on the top of the fill valve. Route the other end of the refill tube into the overflow tube of the flush valve. This tube refills the toilet bowl after each flush. If you wish to send more water to the toilet bowl, you can remove the small plug from the refill tube port on the fill valve.
  5. Connect Water Supply: Connect the toilet's water supply line to the threaded shank at the bottom of the fill valve. Hand-tighten, then use a wrench for a final quarter-turn. Do not overtighten.
  6. Restore Water Supply: Slowly turn the water supply back on. Check for leaks around all connections. Allow the tank to fill.
  7. Test Flush: Flush the toilet to ensure proper operation and water level. The water level in the tank should be approximately 1 inch below the top of the overflow tube.

Operating Instructions

The NuFlush Fast Fill Tower Valve operates automatically to maintain the correct water level in your toilet tank and bowl. After each flush, the valve will open to refill the tank to the preset water height. The refill tube simultaneously directs water into the toilet bowl to restore its water level.

  • Water Level Adjustment: If the water level in the tank is too high or too low, turn off the water supply and adjust the valve height as described in the "Setup and Installation" section.
  • Bowl Fill Rate: If the toilet bowl does not fill adequately, ensure the refill tube is properly inserted into the overflow pipe. For increased bowl fill, remove the small plug from the refill tube port on the fill valve.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your NuFlush Fast Fill Tower Valve.

  • Strainer Cleaning: The valve includes a 7/8" strainer designed to catch sediment. If water flow becomes restricted or the valve operates slowly, turn off the water supply, disconnect the supply line, and inspect the strainer for debris. Clean it gently under running water and reassemble.
  • General Cleaning: Periodically inspect the valve for any mineral buildup or debris. Clean with a soft brush and mild detergent if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Toilet runs continuously or leaks.Water level too high, fill valve not sealing, or flapper issue.Adjust fill valve height to ensure water level is below overflow tube. Inspect flapper for proper seal. Check for debris in fill valve.
Slow tank refill.Clogged strainer or low water pressure.Turn off water, disconnect supply line, and clean the 7/8" strainer. Ensure water supply valve is fully open.
Noisy operation during fill.Water pressure issues or internal valve component.Ensure water supply valve is fully open. Check for debris in the valve. If noise persists, consult a plumber.
Weak flush or low bowl water level.Improper refill tube connection or insufficient water directed to bowl.Ensure refill tube is securely placed into the overflow pipe. Consider removing the small plug from the refill tube port on the fill valve to increase water flow to the bowl.
