1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your AgfaPhoto Realikids Cam 2 Kids Camera. Please read it thoroughly before operating the device and retain it for future reference.
1.1 Package Contents
Verify that all items are present in the package:
- AgfaPhoto Realikids Cam 2 Camera
- Built-in Lithium Battery (pre-installed)
- USB Cable
- Neck Strap
Note: A Micro SD card (up to 32GB) is required for storing photos and videos and is not included with the camera.
2. Safety Information
Observe the following safety guidelines to prevent damage to the camera or injury to the user.
- Do not expose the camera to water or excessive moisture. The camera is not water-resistant.
- Avoid dropping the camera or subjecting it to strong impacts.
- Keep the camera away from extreme temperatures.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the camera.
- Use only the provided USB cable for charging.
- Supervise young children during camera use to ensure safe operation.
3. Product Overview

3.1 Camera Components
- Front Lens: For capturing standard photos and videos.
- Rear CMOS Sensor: Dedicated sensor for selfie mode.
- 3.5-inch LCD Screen: For viewing images, videos, and navigating menus.
- Control Buttons: Located on the right side of the screen for menu navigation, photo/video capture, and power.
- USB Port: For charging the camera and transferring files to a computer.
- Micro SD Card Slot: For inserting external memory (not visible in images, but implied by specs).
- Neck Strap Loop: For attaching the included neck strap.
4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Battery
- Connect the small end of the provided USB cable to the camera's USB port.
- Connect the large end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged, the light may change color or turn off.
- A full charge typically takes approximately 2-3 hours.

4.2 Inserting a Micro SD Card
The camera requires a Micro SD card (up to 32GB, Class 6 or higher recommended) to save photos and videos.
- Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the camera.
- Gently insert the Micro SD card with the metal contacts facing downwards until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card in again until it clicks and springs out.
4.3 Attaching the Neck Strap
Thread the included neck strap through the designated loop on the camera body to prevent accidental drops.
5. Operating the Camera
5.1 Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (usually located on the top or side) until the screen illuminates.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again until the screen turns off.
5.2 Taking Photos
- Ensure the camera is in photo mode. If not, navigate through the menu to select the photo icon.
- Frame your shot using the 3.5-inch LCD screen.
- Press the Shutter button (typically a large button on top or side) to capture the image.

5.3 Selfie Mode
The camera features a rear CMOS sensor for taking selfies.
- Switch to selfie mode via the camera's menu or a dedicated button (refer to on-screen icons).
- Hold the camera facing yourself and frame your shot on the screen.
- Press the Shutter button to capture your selfie.

5.4 Recording Videos
- Switch to video mode through the camera's menu.
- Press the Shutter button once to start recording. A timer or indicator will appear on the screen.
- Press the Shutter button again to stop recording.
5.5 Photo Filters and Frames
The camera includes 16 fun filters and frames to enhance your photos.
- After taking a photo, or before, navigate to the filter/frame option in the menu.
- Use the navigation buttons to browse through the available filters and frames.
- Select your desired filter or frame to apply it to your image.

5.6 Playback and File Transfer
- Playback: Enter playback mode via the menu to view your captured photos and videos. Use navigation buttons to scroll through files.
- File Transfer: Connect the camera to a computer using the USB cable. The camera should appear as a removable disk. You can then copy files from the Micro SD card to your computer.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Camera
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body.
- For the lens and screen, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth to avoid scratches.
- Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
6.2 Battery Care
- Charge the battery regularly, even if the camera is not in frequent use, to maintain battery health.
- Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- If storing the camera for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%).
6.3 Storage
Store the camera in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and dust.
