  • To turn off the clipper, press the power button again.

5.2 Adjusting Cutting Length

The KIWI AHC-5035 offers two methods for adjusting cutting length:

  1. Fine Adjustment Dial: For precise short lengths, rotate the dial on the clipper body to select 0.5mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm, or 2.0mm. This adjustment works directly on the blade without a comb.
  2. Guide Combs: For longer hair lengths, attach one of the provided guide combs as described in Section 4.2. The guide combs will provide fixed cutting lengths.

5.3 Hair Cutting Tips

  • For best results, use the clipper on clean, dry hair.
  • Always start with a longer cutting length than desired to avoid cutting too short.
  • Move the clipper slowly and steadily against the direction of hair growth.
  • Overlap strokes to ensure an even cut.
  • Regularly clear hair from the blade during use to maintain performance.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your hair clipper.

6.1 Cleaning After Each Use

  1. Turn off the clipper and disconnect it from the power source if charging.
  2. Remove any attached guide combs.
  3. Use the cleaning brush (if provided) to brush away loose hairs from the blade and the clipper body.
  4. Since the clipper is IPX7 waterproof, you can rinse the blade head and the entire clipper under running water. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before rinsing.
  5. Allow the clipper to air dry completely before storing or recharging.

6.2 Blade Care

  • Periodically apply a small drop of clipper oil (not included) to the blades to ensure smooth operation and prevent rust. Apply oil after cleaning and before storage.
  • Never use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals on the clipper.

6.3 Storage

  • Store the clipper in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Keep the clipper and its accessories out of reach of children.
