2. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions carefully before using the batteries. Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, electric shock, battery damage, or other hazards.

  • Do not disassemble, open, or shred battery cells or packs.
  • Do not short-circuit a battery. Do not store batteries haphazardly in a box or drawer where they may short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by conductive materials.
  • Do not expose batteries to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
  • Do not subject batteries to mechanical shock.
  • In the event of a battery leaking, do not allow the liquid to come into contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
  • Do not use any charger other than that specifically provided for use with the equipment.
  • Observe the plus (+) and minus (-) marks on the battery and equipment and ensure correct usage.
  • Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different types or brands.
  • The batteries are equipped with multiple protection mechanisms to prevent overcharging, deep discharge, overheating, and short circuits. However, always monitor charging.

3. Setup and Charging

Your VERICO LoopEnergy batteries come partially charged. For optimal performance, it is recommended to fully charge them before first use.

3.1 First Use:

  1. Unpack the batteries and the charging cable from the packaging.
  2. Proceed to charge the batteries as described in section 3.2.

3.2 Charging the Batteries:

The VERICO LoopEnergy D batteries feature a convenient built-in USB Type-C charging port, eliminating the need for a separate battery charger.

  1. Locate the USB Type-C port on the side of each battery.
  2. Connect the included USB Type-A to 2x Type-C charging cable to the battery's Type-C port.
  3. Plug the USB Type-A end of the cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port).
  4. An indicator light on the battery will illuminate during charging. This light will change color or turn off once charging is complete. (Note: Refer to the battery's specific indicator behavior, typically red for charging, green for full.)
  5. Charging typically takes 1 to 2 hours for a full charge.
