Operating Instructions
Automatic Recording
Once powered on, the JOMISE F3S will automatically begin recording. Both front and rear cameras will record simultaneously.
Loop Recording
The dash cam records video in continuous loops. When the memory card is full, the oldest unlocked video files will be overwritten by new recordings.
G-Sensor (Emergency Recording)
In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-sensor will detect the event and automatically lock the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. These emergency recordings are stored in a separate folder.
Parking Monitor (Requires Hardwire Kit)
With an optional hardwire kit, the dash cam can monitor your vehicle for impacts even when parked and the engine is off. If an impact is detected, it will automatically start recording.
GPS Functionality
The integrated GPS module records your vehicle's location, speed, and direction, providing valuable data that can be viewed alongside your video footage using compatible playback software.
Wi-Fi Connectivity
Connect your smartphone to the dash cam via Wi-Fi using the dedicated JOMISE app to view live footage, download recordings, and adjust settings.
Maintenance
- Memory Card: Regularly format the memory card (at least once a month) to prevent data corruption and ensure optimal recording performance. Replace the memory card if it shows signs of wear or error.
- Lens Cleaning: Keep the camera lenses clean from dust, dirt, and smudges to ensure clear video quality. Use a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Firmware Updates: Check the official JOMISE website periodically for firmware updates to improve performance and add new features.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the dash cam to extreme temperatures for prolonged periods, as this can affect battery life and device performance.
Troubleshooting
- Dash Cam Not Powering On: Ensure the car charger is properly connected and the vehicle's power outlet is functioning. Check the power cable for any damage.
- Recording Issues: Format the memory card. If issues persist, try a different Class 10 or higher speed memory card. Ensure the card is not full of locked files.
- Poor Video Quality: Clean the camera lenses. Check settings to ensure recording resolution is set to the desired level.
- GPS Not Working: Ensure the GPS module is properly connected and the vehicle is in an open area with a clear view of the sky.
- Wi-Fi Connection Problems: Ensure the JOMISE app is up to date. Restart both the dash cam and your smartphone.
