Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 4 AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Placement Options

• Wall Mounting: Use the hanging holes on the back of the unit to mount it securely on a wall.
• Tabletop Stand: Extend the built-in stand on the back for stable placement on a desk or table.

Operating Instructions

1. Switching Display Modes (Timer / Clock with Environment)

The MAG TM-606 can display either the countdown timer or the clock with temperature and humidity. Use the "Time On/Off" button (時刻設定ボタン) on the back of the unit to switch between these modes.

2. Setting the Clock

In clock display mode:

1. Press and hold the "Time Setting" button (時刻設定ボタン) until the time digits begin to flash.
2. Use the adjustment buttons (usually located near the setting button, refer to the back panel image) to set the hour and minute.
3. Press the "Time Setting" button again to confirm and move to the next setting (e.g., 12/24 hour format, date, year).
4. Continue adjusting and confirming until all settings are complete.

3. Using the Countdown Timer (60 Minutes)

In timer display mode:

1. The timer can be set for up to 60 minutes.
2. Use the adjustment buttons to set the desired countdown time.
3. Press the "Start/Stop" button (usually integrated with the setting buttons) to begin the countdown.
4. The timer will visually decrease by one scale mark for every minute that passes.
5. A 3-minute prior notice alarm will sound before the timer reaches zero.
6. When the timer reaches zero, the main alarm will sound.
7. To pause the timer, press the "Start/Stop" button during the countdown. Press again to resume.
8. To reset the timer, press the "Reset" button (リセットボタン) on the back.

4. Adjusting Alarm Volume

The alarm sound can be switched between Large, Small, and Mute. Use the "Volume" button (音量ボタン) on the back of the unit to cycle through these options.

5. Environmental Guidelines

In clock mode, the display provides temperature and humidity readings. It also includes environmental guidelines, such as warnings for flu risk and heatstroke risk, based on these readings. Pay attention to these indicators for a healthier indoor environment.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
