Setup and Installation
1. Unpacking
Remove all packaging materials and transit bolts from the rear of the machine. Keep the transit bolts for future transport.
2. Location
Place the washing machine on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for ventilation and access.
3. Water Connection
Connect the inlet hose to a cold water tap with a 3/4" thread. Ensure the connection is secure and leak-free. Use only the new hose provided with the appliance.
4. Drainage
Position the drain hose correctly into a standpipe or over the edge of a sink, ensuring it is securely fastened to prevent displacement during draining.
5. Electrical Connection
Plug the power cord into a properly grounded 240V AC electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapters.
6. Leveling
Adjust the machine's feet to ensure it is perfectly level. This prevents excessive vibration and noise during operation.
Operating Instructions
1. Before First Use
Run an empty wash cycle (e.g., 'Drum Clean' program) without laundry or detergent to clean the drum and internal components.
2. Loading Laundry
Open the loading door and place laundry loosely into the drum. Do not overload the machine. Close the door firmly.
3. Adding Detergent and Softener
Pull out the detergent drawer. Add appropriate amounts of detergent to the main wash compartment and fabric softener to its designated compartment. Close the drawer gently.
4. Selecting a Program
Turn the program selector dial to choose the desired wash program. The LED display will show the default settings for the selected program.
5. Adjusting Program Settings
Use the touch control buttons to adjust temperature, spin speed, or select additional options like 'Rinse Plus' or 'ecoPerfect/speedPerfect' if available for the chosen program.
6. Starting a Wash Cycle
Press the 'Start/Reload' button to begin the wash cycle. The door will lock, and the machine will start filling with water.
7. Reload Function
If you need to add or remove items after the cycle has started, press the 'Start/Reload' button. If it is safe to open the door, it will unlock. Add/remove items and press 'Start/Reload' again to resume.
8. Ending a Wash Cycle
At the end of the cycle, a buzzer may sound, and the display will indicate completion. The door will unlock. Open the door and remove your laundry promptly.

Maintenance and Care

2. Cleaning the Detergent Drawer
Remove the detergent drawer and rinse it under running water to remove any detergent residue. Clean the housing of the drawer with a brush.
3. Cleaning the Drum
Use the 'Drum Clean' program regularly (e.g., monthly) to prevent odors and maintain hygiene. You can also use a washing machine cleaner.
4. Cleaning the Drain Pump Filter
Periodically check and clean the drain pump filter to remove lint, coins, or other small objects. Refer to the service flap location for access.
5. Descaling
If you live in a hard water area, descaling may be necessary. Use a suitable descaling agent specifically designed for washing machines, following the product instructions.
6. Winter Storage / Transport
If the machine is to be stored in an area where it might freeze, or if it needs to be transported, ensure all water is drained from the machine and the transit bolts are reinstalled.
