Operation
The KW-Z1000W features a 10.1" HD capacitive touchscreen for intuitive control.
Basic Controls
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button on the front panel.
- Volume Control: Use the physical buttons or on-screen controls.
- Source Selection: Tap the "Source" icon on the touchscreen to select between Radio, USB, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, HDMI, and SiriusXM.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
Connect your iPhone wirelessly to access navigation, music, messages, and more directly on the receiver's display.

- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iPhone.
- On the receiver, select "Apple CarPlay" as the source.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to pair your iPhone via Bluetooth.
- Once paired, CarPlay will launch automatically.
Wireless Android Auto
Connect your Android smartphone wirelessly for navigation, communication, and entertainment features.

- Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your Android phone.
- On the receiver, select "Android Auto" as the source.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to pair your phone via Bluetooth.
- Once paired, Android Auto will launch automatically.
Bluetooth Connectivity
For audio streaming and hands-free calling without CarPlay or Android Auto.
- Enable Bluetooth on your device.
- On the receiver, go to the Bluetooth settings menu.
- Select "Pairing" and search for available devices on your phone.
- Select "KW-Z1000W" from your phone's list and confirm the pairing code.
SiriusXM Satellite Radio
The included SXV300V1 tuner provides access to SiriusXM channels (subscription required).
- Ensure the SXV300V1 tuner is properly connected.
- Select "SiriusXM" as the source on the receiver.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to activate your SiriusXM subscription.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Display
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the touchscreen.
- For stubborn smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen cleaner designed for electronics.
