- Suitable Materials: Cast iron, enameled steel, and stainless steel with a magnetic base are generally compatible.
- Unsuitable Materials: Glass, ceramic, copper, aluminum, and non-magnetic stainless steel are not suitable for induction cooking.
7. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your cooktop.
- Daily Cleaning: After each use, allow the cooktop to cool down. Wipe the ceramic surface with a damp cloth and mild dish soap. Dry thoroughly.
- Stubborn Stains: For burnt-on food or stubborn stains, use a ceramic hob scraper or a specialized ceramic hob cleaner. Follow the product instructions carefully.
- Avoid Abrasives: Do not use abrasive sponges, scouring pads, or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can scratch or damage the ceramic surface.
- Control Panel: Wipe the touch control panel with a soft, damp cloth. Ensure it is dry before operating the cooktop.
