3. Safety Information
Always follow basic safety precautions when using power tools to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury. Read all instructions before operating this product.
- Wear Eye Protection: Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields when operating the drill.
- Secure Workpiece: Clamp or otherwise secure the workpiece to prevent movement during drilling or driving.
- Keep Work Area Clean: Cluttered areas invite accidents.
- Avoid Accidental Starting: Ensure the switch is in the off position before inserting the battery pack.
- Use Correct Tool: Do not force a small tool or attachment to do the job of a heavy-duty tool.
- Maintain Tools with Care: Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.
- Store Idle Tools: When not in use, tools should be stored in a dry, high, or locked-up place, out of reach of children.
- Check for Damaged Parts: Before further use of the tool, a guard or other part that is damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function.
4. Setup
4.1 Battery Charging and Installation
The 20V Lithium-Ion battery pack is partially charged upon shipment. Fully charge the battery before first use. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet and insert the battery pack into the charger. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.
To install the battery pack into the drill, align the battery with the base of the drill handle and slide it in until it clicks securely into place. To remove, press the release button on the battery pack and slide it out.

4.2 Drill Bit Installation and Removal
The drill features a three-jaw keyless chuck for easy bit changes.
- To Open the Chuck: Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise until the jaws are wide enough to insert the desired drill bit or screwdriver bit.
- Insert Bit: Insert the bit into the chuck as far as it will go.
- Tighten Chuck: Rotate the chuck clockwise firmly to secure the bit. Ensure the bit is centered and tightly gripped to prevent slippage during operation.
- To Remove Bit: Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise to loosen the jaws and pull the bit out.

4.3 Flexible Shaft Attachment
For hard-to-reach areas, attach the flexible shaft to the drill chuck as you would a regular drill bit. Insert the desired screwdriver bit into the end of the flexible shaft.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off and Variable Speed Trigger
The drill is activated by pressing the trigger switch. The speed of the drill is variable and controlled by the amount of pressure applied to the trigger. Pressing lightly results in lower speed, while pressing fully results in maximum speed.
5.2 Forward/Reverse Switch
Located above the trigger, the forward/reverse switch controls the direction of rotation. Push the switch to the left for forward (clockwise) rotation, suitable for drilling and driving screws. Push it to the right for reverse (counter-clockwise) rotation, used for removing screws or backing out drill bits. Position the switch in the center to lock the trigger and prevent accidental starting.
5.3 Two-Variable Speed Settings
The drill features a two-speed gearbox for optimal performance across different applications. The speed selector switch is located on top of the drill housing.
- Speed 1 (Low): 0-400 RPM. Ideal for high-torque applications such as driving large screws or drilling into tough materials.
- Speed 2 (High): 0-1500 RPM. Suitable for fast drilling in wood, plastic, or light metals, and for smaller screws.
Always select the appropriate speed setting before starting the drill.
5.4 Torque Settings (18+1 Position Clutch)
The adjustable torque collar allows you to set the amount of torque before the clutch disengages, preventing overtightening of screws or stripping screw heads. Rotate the collar to select one of the 18 torque settings for driving screws. The 'drill' symbol setting bypasses the clutch for maximum torque, suitable for drilling applications.
5.5 LED Working Light
An integrated LED light illuminates the work area when the trigger is pressed, improving visibility in dimly lit spaces.

5.6 General Usage
Hold the drill firmly with both hands if possible. Apply steady, even pressure. For drilling, start with a small pilot hole if necessary, especially in hard materials. For driving, select a torque setting appropriate for the screw size and material to avoid damage.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Keep the tool's air vents clean to prevent overheating. Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe down the tool. Do not use water or chemical cleaners. Periodically clean the chuck jaws to ensure proper gripping of bits.
6.2 Battery Care
Store battery packs in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Do not store fully discharged batteries for extended periods. Recharge them periodically if not in use.
6.3 Storage
When not in use, store the drill and all accessories in the provided carrying case in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children.
7. Troubleshooting
- Drill does not turn on: Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted. Check that the forward/reverse switch is not in the center (locked) position.
- Battery not charging: Verify the charger is plugged into a working outlet. Ensure the battery is correctly seated in the charger. If the issue persists, the battery or charger may be faulty.
- Bit slips in chuck: Ensure the chuck is tightened securely. The bit may be worn or damaged and needs replacement.
- Reduced power or performance: The battery may be low on charge. Ensure the correct speed and torque settings are selected for the task.
