This bunk bed features a twin-sized upper bunk and a full-sized lower bunk, with a built-in stairway that includes four storage drawers. 2. Safety Information
Adherence to safety guidelines is crucial for preventing injuries. Please observe the following:
- Always follow the information on the warning labels located on the upper bunk bed structure and the product carton. Do not remove warning labels from the bed.
- Do not allow children under 6 years of age to use the upper bunk.
- Prohibit more than one person on the upper bunk at any time.
- Always use the ladder or stairway to enter and leave the upper bunk.
- If the bunk bed is placed next to a wall, the guardrail that runs the full length of the bed should be positioned against the wall to prevent entrapment between the bed and the wall.
- Always use guardrails on both long sides of the upper bunk.
- Never attach or hang items to any part of the bunk bed that are not designed for use with the bed. This includes, but is not limited to, hooks, belts, and jump ropes.
- Ensure all connections are tight and secure after assembly and periodically check them for tightness.
3. Setup & Assembly
Assembly of the Bedz King BK961 bunk bed is required. All necessary tools and detailed installation directions are included in the hardware box. It is recommended to have at least two adults for assembly.

The stairway can be positioned on either the right or left side of the bed during assembly, based on your room layout and preference.
4. Operation
4.1 Using the Stairway and Drawers
The bunk bed features a built-in 4-step stairway for safe and easy access to the top bunk. Each step of the stairway integrates a storage drawer. To open a drawer, gently pull the handle located on the front of the drawer. To close, push the drawer back until it is fully seated within the stairway frame.

4.2 Convertible Design
The Twin over Full Stairway Bunk Bed can be converted into one separate twin bed and one separate full bed. When converted, the top bunk footboard will have a gap that originally served as the entryway for the stairway. Consult the assembly instructions for details on how to safely separate the bunk bed into two individual beds.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To clean the bunk bed, wipe surfaces with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the Dark Cherry finish.
5.2 Hardware Checks
Periodically inspect all bolts, screws, and other hardware to ensure they remain tight and secure. Loose hardware can compromise the stability and safety of the bed. Tighten any loose fasteners immediately.
