Initial Setup

1. Connecting to Power

Connect the provided USB charging cable to the DC 5V port on the soundbar and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port on your device (e.g., TV, PC). Ensure the soundbar is fully charged before first use for optimal battery life.

2. Initial Power On

Press and hold the Power button (U) on the soundbar or remote control for 3 seconds to power on the device. The LCD display will light up.

Basic Operation

Power On/Off

• To power on: Press and hold the Power button (U) for 3 seconds.
• To power off: Press and hold the Power button (U) for 3 seconds.

Volume Control

• Rotate the central knob on the soundbar clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease volume.
• Alternatively, use the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons on the remote control.

Mode Selection

Press the 'M' button on the soundbar or remote control to cycle through available input modes: Bluetooth (BT), AUX, TF Card, USB, and Clock Mode.

Connection Modes

Bluetooth Connection

1. Power on the soundbar.
2. Press the 'M' button until the display shows 'BT' (Bluetooth mode).
3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, PC), enable Bluetooth and search for 'Foxnovo Soundbar'.
4. Select 'Foxnovo Soundbar' to pair. A confirmation sound will indicate successful pairing.

Wired Connections

• AUX Connection: Connect one end of the 3.5mm AUX audio cable to the AUX port on the soundbar and the other end to your device's audio output. Press 'M' to select AUX mode.
• RCA Connection: Use the provided RCA audio cable to connect the soundbar to your TV or other audio source. Ensure correct color-matching (red to red, white to white). Press 'M' to select the appropriate input mode.
• Optical Connection: (If applicable, based on product specifications) Connect an optical cable (not included) from your TV's optical output to the soundbar's optical input. Press 'M' to select Optical mode.

USB/TF Card Playback

• Insert a USB drive or TF card into the respective port on the soundbar.
• The soundbar will automatically switch to USB or TF mode and begin playing compatible audio files. If not, press 'M' to select the correct mode.

Clock and Alarm Settings

Setting the Time

1. First, press and hold the Power button (U) for 3 seconds to power on the soundbar. You will hear "CLOCK MODE".
2. Press the Power button (U) again (only once, not long press). The hour on the LCD Display will flash.
3. Press the "Forward" (>>) or "Backward" (<<) button to adjust the hour.
4. Once the hour is set, press the Power button (U) again to switch to the minute setting.
5. Press the "Forward" (>>) or "Backward" (<<) button to adjust the minute.
6. Wait four seconds for the time to be shown. The time is now set.

Setting the Alarm Clock

1. Ensure the soundbar is in Clock Mode.
2. Long press the 'M' button for 3 seconds. The LCD Display will flash, allowing you to set the hour.
3. Press the "Forward" (>>) or "Backward" (<<) button to adjust the alarm hour.
4. Then, press the Power button (U) to switch to the minute setting.
5. Press the "Forward" (>>) or "Backward" (<<) button to adjust the alarm minute.
6. Wait four seconds for the time to be shown. The alarm clock is now set.

Disabling the Alarm Clock

To turn off the alarm, double-click the 'M' button while in Clock Mode.

Troubleshooting Guide

If you encounter any issues with your Foxnovo Soundbar, please refer to the solutions below.

• No Power: Ensure the USB charging cable is securely connected to both the soundbar and a working power source. Check if the power adapter is functioning correctly.
• No Sound:
  • Check the volume level on both the soundbar and your connected device.
  • Ensure the correct input mode (Bluetooth, AUX, etc.) is selected on the soundbar.
  • Verify that audio cables are securely connected and not damaged.
• Bluetooth Pairing Issues:
  • Make sure the soundbar is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
  • Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and within range (up to 50 feet).
  • Forget the soundbar from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
• Clock Display Issues (e.g., Military Time): The soundbar's clock may default to 24-hour (military) format. Follow the "Setting the Time" instructions to adjust the hour and minute. There is no option to switch to 12-hour format.
• Remote Control Not Working: Ensure there are fresh batteries in the remote control. Point the remote directly at the soundbar's sensor.
