3. Setup
3.1 Camera Compatibility
Ensure your cameras are compatible with the DVR. This DVR supports AHD, TVI, CVI, and traditional Analog cameras up to 2.4 Megapixels (MP). It is not compatible with SDI cameras or cameras exceeding 2.4MP (e.g., 3MP, 4MP, 5MP).

3.2 Initial Hardware Connection
Follow these steps to connect your DVR:
- Connect Cameras: Connect your security cameras to the BNC video input ports (V1-V16) on the rear panel of the DVR.
- Connect Monitor: Connect a monitor to the DVR using either the HDMI or VGA port.
- Connect Mouse: Plug the included USB mouse into one of the USB ports on the DVR (front or rear).
- Connect Network (Optional): For remote viewing and network features, connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the LAN port on the DVR.

- From the main menu, select Playback.

To back up video files:
- Insert a USB flash drive into a USB port on the DVR.
