Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your VINGLI Automatic Suction Pool Cleaner. Please read all instructions carefully before assembly, installation, and use. Keep this manual for future reference.
The VINGLI automatic suction pool cleaner is designed for efficient and quiet cleaning of swimming pools, including walls. It features a long-life diaphragm membrane and a unique deflector wheel to prevent getting stuck. The package includes ten durable hoses and two replacement diaphragms. This cleaner operates without an independent power supply, relying on your pool's pump. A minimum 3/4hp swimming pool pump or a flow of 6.5m³/hour (1700 gal/hr) is required.
Product Features
- Efficient and Quiet Operation: Designed for straightforward assembly and installation, providing efficient and quiet operation.
- Powerful Suction: Provides powerful suction for thorough cleaning of in-ground pools, including walls, effectively removing dirt and debris.
- Anti-Stuck Design: A wheel deflector aids movement around tight corners, and scuff-resistant hoses protect pool surfaces.
- Durable Components: Features a long-life diaphragm membrane for extended use. Includes ten durable hoses and two replacement diaphragms.
- Easy Installation: No special tools are required for assembly and installation.
Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble and install your VINGLI Automatic Suction Pool Cleaner:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Verify that all components listed in the packing list are present.
- Assemble Cleaner Head: Attach the finned cleaning disc to the main body of the cleaner. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Install Wheel Deflector: Place the wheel deflector onto the cleaner's neck. It should spin freely to prevent the cleaner from getting stuck.
- Connect Hoses: Connect the hose sections one by one. Each hose section has a male and female end. Push the male end firmly into the female end until secure.
- Determine Hose Length: To determine the correct hose length, stand at the point where you will connect the cleaner (either skimmer or dedicated return line). Extend the hose across the pool to the furthest point. Add two additional hose sections to this length. This ensures adequate reach and prevents tangling.
- Install Hose Weight: Attach the floating weight to the first hose section, approximately 4-6 inches from the cleaner head. This helps keep the cleaner submerged and moving effectively.
- Prepare for Connection: Before connecting the hose to your pool's suction point, ensure all air is expelled from the hose. Submerge the entire cleaner and hose into the pool, allowing air bubbles to escape. Alternatively, hold the end of the hose near the skimmer's suction valve (without fully connecting) until water flows through and all air is expelled.
- Connect to Pool: Once all air is expelled, firmly connect the hose to your pool's skimmer or dedicated return line.

Operating Instructions
Once assembled and connected, the VINGLI Automatic Suction Pool Cleaner will begin to move and clean your pool automatically. It operates by utilizing the suction from your pool pump.
- Pump Requirement: Ensure your pool pump meets the minimum requirement of 3/4hp or a flow rate of 6.5m³/hour (1700 gal/hr).
- Flow Adjustment: Optimal performance is achieved by adjusting the hose weights and the regulator valve. If the cleaner is not climbing walls sufficiently, increase the flow. If it climbs too high or frequently exits the water, decrease the flow.
- Movement: The cleaner moves across the pool floor, climbs walls, and navigates around steps. The wheel deflector helps prevent it from getting stuck in corners or on steps.
- Debris Collection: The powerful suction efficiently removes dirt, debris, algae, and dust. Note that this cleaner is less efficient at picking up large leaves or similar oversized debris.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pool cleaner:
- Check Diaphragm: Periodically inspect the diaphragm for any cracks or obstructions. A damaged or blocked diaphragm can cause the cleaner to stop working or become sluggish. Replacement diaphragms are included.
- Clean Pump and Skimmer Baskets: Regularly clean and empty your pool pump basket and skimmer/weir basket to maintain proper water flow and suction.
- Inspect Filtration System: Ensure your pool's filtration system (sand/cartridge filters) is thoroughly cleaned as per the manufacturer's specifications.
- Regulator Valve: Inspect the regulator valve and flush away any debris build-up.
- Hose Inspection: Check the hoses for any blockages or leaks. Lift each section above water while the pump is running to identify leaks. Ensure hose sections are straight; if not, lay them in a straight line in the sun to relax any memory. Twist each hose section a half-turn at each connection point to prevent repetitive travel patterns.
- Mat Wear: Inspect the cleaner's mat for wear and ensure the curved tips are facing upwards.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your VINGLI Automatic Suction Pool Cleaner, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
Problem: Cleaner is sluggish or has stopped operating.
- Check if the pump is ON and/or primed.
- Check the cleaner head for blockages.
- Clean and empty pump basket and skimmer/weir basket.
- Ensure the filtration system is thoroughly cleaned (sand/cartridge filters).
- Inspect the regulator valve and flush away any debris build-up.
- Inspect the mat for wear and ensure curved tips are facing upwards.
- Make sure the skimmer/weir vacuum lid is fitted correctly and check for cracks.
- Check the hose for blockages or leaks by lifting each section above water while the pump is running.
- If the vacuum stops working, check the diaphragm, especially the diaphragm mouth inside, for gaps or small rocks stuck in it.
Problem: Cleaner travels in a repetitive pattern.
- Adjust return jets downwards.
- Verify proper hose length.
- Ensure cleaner sits flush with the pool floor. Adjust the position of hose weight if necessary (this should be done at the deepest part of the pool).
- Remove or add one hose section to optimize length.
- Inspect the regulator valve and flush away any debris build-up.
- Check that the hose sections are straight; if not, lay the hose in a straight line in the sun to relax its memory.
- Twist each hose section a half-turn at each connection point.
