Setup
1. Charging the Earbuds and Case
- Place both earbuds into the charging case. Ensure they are correctly seated in their respective slots.
- Connect the USB charging cable to the charging port on the case and plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
- The LED indicators on the charging case will illuminate to show the charging status. A full charge is indicated when all LEDs are solid.
- Allow approximately 1-2 hours for a full charge of both the earbuds and the charging case.
2. Initial Pairing
- Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically power on and enter pairing mode. You may see a flashing LED on one or both earbuds.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth.
- Search for available Bluetooth devices and select "GabbaGoods TrueBuds Ace" from the list.
- Once connected, a voice prompt will confirm successful pairing, and the earbud LEDs will stop flashing.
3. Fitting the Earbuds
Gently insert each earbud into your ear canal. Rotate slightly to find a secure and comfortable fit. A proper fit enhances sound quality and stability.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- Power On: Open the charging case, and the earbuds will automatically power on.
- Power Off: Place the earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid. They will automatically power off and begin charging.
Basic Controls
The TrueBuds Ace feature touch controls on each earbud. Specific functions may vary slightly depending on your device and operating system.

Single Earbud Use

Troubleshooting
Earbuds Not Pairing with Device
- Ensure both earbuds are fully charged.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
- Turn off Bluetooth on other nearby devices to avoid interference.
- Forget/delete "GabbaGoods TrueBuds Ace" from your device's Bluetooth list and attempt to pair again.
- Place earbuds back in the case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, then open the lid to re-initiate pairing mode.
Only One Earbud Working
- Ensure both earbuds are charged.
- Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, and then open it again. This often re-syncs them.
- If the issue persists, try resetting the earbuds (see below).
Charging Issues
- Verify the charging cable is securely connected to both the case and the power source.
- Ensure the charging contacts on the earbuds and inside the case are clean and free of debris.
- Try using a different USB charging cable or power adapter.
Resetting the Earbuds
If you experience persistent pairing or connectivity issues, a factory reset may resolve the problem:
- Forget/delete "GabbaGoods TrueBuds Ace" from your device's Bluetooth settings.
- Place both earbuds into the charging case.
- With the lid open, press and hold the function button on the charging case (if available, or refer to specific product instructions for reset method) for approximately 10-15 seconds until the LED indicators flash rapidly.
- Close the case, then open it again and attempt to re-pair with your device.
