Operation
The Aquasure Premier RO system operates by pushing tap water through a series of filters to remove impurities. The purified water is then stored in the pressurized tank, ready for dispensing through the dedicated faucet.
How the Filtration Works:
- Stage 1 (Sediment Filter AF-PR1): Removes larger particles like dirt, rust, and sand, protecting subsequent filters.
- Stage 2 (Carbon Filter AF-PR2): Filters out chlorine, VOCs, chemicals, and other contaminants that affect taste and odor.
- Stage 3 (RO Membrane AF-MEM75): The core of the system, this semi-permeable membrane removes up to 99.99% of dissolved solids, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, and other microscopic impurities.
- Stage 4 (Post-Carbon Filter AF-PR4): Provides a final polish to the water, removing any residual tastes or odors, ensuring the purest and freshest water.

Maintenance
Filter Replacement:
The Aquasure Premier RO system features a quick-twist design for easy filter replacement, requiring no tools. Regular filter replacement is crucial for maintaining optimal water quality and system performance.
- Step 1: Turn off the water supply to your RO system.
- Step 2: Remove the old filter by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Step 3: Install the new filter by inserting it and turning it clockwise to lock it in place.
- After replacing filters, turn on the water supply and check for leaks. Flush the system as per the detailed manual instructions.

Recommended Filter Replacement Schedule:
| Filter Stage | Filter Name | Replacement Frequency |
|---|---|---|
| Stage 1 | Sediment Filter (AF-PR1) | Every 6-12 months |
| Stage 2 | Carbon Block Filter (AF-PR2) | Every 6-12 months |
| Stage 3 | RO Membrane (AF-MEM75) | Every 18-24 months |
| Stage 4 | Post-Carbon Filter (AF-PR4) | Every 18-24 months |
*Filter replacement time will vary depending on your water quality and usage.
Troubleshooting
This section provides solutions to common issues you might encounter with your Aquasure Premier RO system. For problems not listed here, please contact customer support.
- No Water Flow or Very Slow Flow:
- Check if the water supply valve to the system is fully open.
- Ensure the tank ball valve is open.
- Verify that the leak protection system (Flowlok) has not been activated. Reset if necessary after checking for leaks.
- Inspect filters for clogging. Replace sediment and carbon filters if they are past their recommended lifespan or appear discolored.
- The RO membrane might be clogged. Replace if necessary (typically every 18-24 months).
- Check for kinks in the tubing.
- Water Has Bad Taste or Odor:
- This usually indicates exhausted carbon filters (Stage 2 and Stage 4). Replace them.
- Ensure the system was properly flushed after installation or filter replacement.
- If the system has been idle for an extended period, flush the tank completely.
- Leaking from Connections:
- Turn off the water supply immediately.
- Check all quick-connect fittings to ensure tubing is fully inserted and secure.
- Inspect O-rings and seals for damage.
- Ensure filters are properly twisted and locked into place.
- Low Water Pressure from Faucet:
- Check the pressure in the storage tank. It may need to be recharged or replaced if it's not holding pressure.
- Filters may be clogged, restricting flow. Replace as needed.
- Ensure the tank ball valve is fully open.
