The Geevon Weather Station is a wireless indoor/outdoor thermometer and hygrometer featuring a touchscreen LCD display. 3. Setup Guide

3.1 Powering the Main Unit

The main display unit can be powered by 3 x AAA batteries (not included) or continuously via the included USB cable. For continuous backlight, the USB cable must be plugged in.

3.2 Powering the Outdoor Sensor

The outdoor remote sensor requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included). Ensure the sensor channel is set to CH1 before installing the batteries.

3.3 Initial Synchronization

After installing batteries in both units, place the main unit and the outdoor sensor side by side for 30 minutes. This allows them to establish a stable connection and receive accurate readings.

3.4 Placement Guidelines

  • Main Unit: Place the main unit on a tabletop or mount it on a wall using the integrated eyelet.
  • Outdoor Sensor: Place the sensor at a height of 6.5-8 ft (2-2.5m) above the ground. It should be placed under a shelter to avoid direct sunlight and rain. Keep it away from any heat sources or vents.
  • Distance: Place both units at least 3 ft (1m) away from electronic devices such as TVs, computers, microwaves, or radios to prevent interference.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Setting Time, Date, and Language

In normal display mode, press and hold the "MODE" button to enter the setting mode. Use the "UP" or "DOWN" buttons to adjust values and "MODE" to confirm and move to the next setting (Year, Month, Date, 12/24H format, Weekday Language).

4.2 Switching Temperature Units (°F/°C)

After setting the language, press the "MODE" button and then use the "UP" or "DOWN" button to switch between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C).

4.3 Monitoring Multiple Channels

The weather station supports up to 3 wireless outdoor sensors. Press the "CHANNEL" button to cycle through the different sensor channels (CH1, CH2, CH3) or to enable auto-cycling.

4.4 Alarm Clock Setting

Press the "MODE" button repeatedly until "ALM" appears on the display to switch to alarm clock mode. Then, press and hold the "MODE" button to enter alarm setting. Use "UP" or "DOWN" to adjust the alarm time. Press "SNZ/LIGHT" for a 5-minute snooze or any other button to turn off the alarm.

4.5 Displaying Heat Index, Dew Point, and Mold Risk

Press the "UP" button to cycle through the display of Heat Index, Dew Point, and Mold Risk. These indicators provide additional environmental information for comfort and health.

4.6 Temperature and Humidity Alerts

Press the "ALERT" button to set high/low temperature and humidity alerts. Use the "UP" or "DOWN" buttons to adjust the alert values and to turn the alert function on or off.

4.7 Viewing Max/Min Records

Press the "DOWN" button to display the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity records for the past 24 hours.

4.8 Adjustable Backlight

The backlight has 3 adjustable levels (Bright, Dim, Off). When powered by USB, the backlight stays on continuously. When powered by batteries, the backlight turns off after 10 seconds to conserve power.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Care and Cleaning

  • Wipe the display and unit casing with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Keep the unit dry and away from direct water exposure.

5.2 Battery Replacement

Replace batteries in both the main unit and the outdoor sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries.

6. Troubleshooting
