2. Attaching the Collar Band to the Receiver:
The nylon collar band needs to be threaded through the receiver unit.
Video: Demonstrates how to attach the adjustable nylon collar band to the receiver unit, ensuring a secure fit for the dog.
3. Fitting the Collar on Your Dog:
Proper fit is essential for comfort and effectiveness. The collar is adjustable from 7.1 to 25.6 inches (18cm to 65cm) and can be cut to size for smaller dogs.
- Place the receiver on the side of your dog's neck, ensuring the contact points touch the skin.
- The collar should be snug enough for the contact points to make reliable contact, but not so tight that it restricts breathing or causes discomfort. You should be able to fit two fingers comfortably between the collar and your dog's neck.
- For long-haired dogs, you may need to trim some fur around the contact points to ensure proper skin contact.
- Do not connect a leash to the training collar. Use a separate collar for leash attachment.

4. Pairing Remote Control and Receiver:
To link the remote and receiver(s):
- Turn on the receiver by pressing its power button.
- On the remote, long-press the channel (CH) button for three seconds until the display shows the channel number blinking.
- Press any training mode button (Sound, Vibration, or Shock) on the remote.
- The receiver will emit a "bee" sound, indicating successful pairing.
- Repeat for additional receivers, selecting a different channel for each.

Operating Modes
The Heaflex Dog Training Electric Collar offers four distinct training modes to suit various training needs:

Image: Visual representation of the four working modes: Tone (audible warning), Vibration (adjustable 0-99 levels), Shock (adjustable 0-99 levels), and LED Light (for visibility).
- Sound Mode: Emits an audible warning sound. Ideal for getting your dog's attention or as a preliminary warning before other modes.
- Vibration Mode: Delivers a vibration to the collar. Intensity is adjustable from 0-99 levels using the +/- buttons on the remote. This is often effective for mild corrections.
- Shock Mode: Delivers a static shock. Intensity is adjustable from 0-99 levels. This mode should be used with caution and as a last resort, always starting at the lowest effective level.
- LED Light Mode: Activates an LED light on the receiver collar. Useful for locating your dog in low-light conditions or at night.
To activate a mode, simply press the corresponding button on the remote control. Adjust intensity levels for Vibration and Shock using the '+' and '-' buttons.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the receiver and contact points with a damp cloth. Ensure no dirt or debris accumulates around the contact points, as this can affect performance.
- Battery Care: Recharge the devices when the battery indicator is low. Avoid overcharging or completely draining the battery for extended periods to prolong battery life.
- Storage: Store the collar system in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Water Exposure: While the receiver is IP67 waterproof, it is recommended to dry the collar and your dog's neck after swimming or bathing to prevent skin irritation. The remote control is NOT waterproof.
