Setup and Installation
The Usha Aquerra DG water heater is designed for wall mounting. For optimal performance and safety, professional installation is highly recommended. Please contact Usha customer care for free installation services.
- Location: Choose a suitable wall location that can support the weight of the water heater when full. Ensure adequate space for maintenance.
- Mounting: Use the provided back mounting mechanism and hardware to securely attach the unit to the wall.
- Water Connections: Connect the cold water inlet (blue) and hot water outlet (red) pipes. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- Electrical Connection: Connect the water heater to a dedicated earthed power supply. Verify voltage and wattage requirements.
- Filling the Tank: Before switching on, open a hot water tap to allow air to escape and the tank to fill completely with water. Close the tap once water flows steadily.

Operating Instructions
The Usha Aquerra DG water heater features a digital display and can be operated via its control panel or the provided remote control.
Control Panel and Digital Display:
- The digital display shows the current water temperature and operational status (Ready/Heating).
- Use the Up and Down arrows to adjust the desired water temperature.
- Press the Power button to turn the unit on or off.
- The Mode button allows selection of different operating modes, including the sterilization function.
Remote Control:
The remote control provides convenient access to all functions from a distance.
- Point the remote control towards the water heater's receiver.
- Use the corresponding buttons on the remote to power on/off, adjust temperature, set timers, and select modes.
Sterilization Function:
To activate the sterilization function, select the appropriate mode. The water heater will heat the water to 80 degrees Celsius to ensure hygiene. Exercise caution as water will be extremely hot.
Preset Timer Function:
Utilize the preset timer function to schedule heating cycles, optimizing energy consumption and ensuring hot water is available when needed.

- Pressure Relief Valve: Periodically check the pressure relief valve for proper operation. Consult a technician if it appears blocked or faulty.
- Anode Rod: The anode rod protects the tank from corrosion. It should be inspected and replaced periodically by a qualified technician.
