2. Safety Information
Always prioritize safety when using any ladder. This ladder meets or exceeds all OSHA and ANSI standards for Type IAA, 375 lbs weight rating. Read and understand all instructions and warning labels before use.
General Safety Guidelines:
Inspect the ladder before each use for any damage or loose parts. Do not use a damaged ladder.
Ensure the ladder is placed on a firm, level surface.
Always maintain three points of contact (two hands and one foot, or two feet and one hand) while climbing or descending.
Do not overreach. Keep your body centered between the side rails.
Do not stand on the top cap or the step immediately below the top cap when using in A-frame mode.
When using as an extension ladder, ensure the ladder extends at least 3 ft above the support point and is set at a 75-degree angle (4:1 ratio).
Avoid working near live electrical wires. The fiberglass construction is non-conductive, but caution is always advised.
Do not use the ladder in windy conditions.
Ensure all hinges and locks are fully engaged before climbing.
3. Setup
3.1. A-Frame (Stepladder) Configuration
Place the ladder on a firm, level surface.
Unlock the 1-handed Grip-N-Go hinge by squeezing the paddle on the hinge.
Open the ladder until both sections form an 'A' shape and the hinges automatically lock into place. Ensure both hinges are fully seated and locked.
Verify that the dual-purpose legs are stable on the ground.

3.2. Leaning Configuration
Unlock the 1-handed Grip-N-Go hinge.
Close the ladder sections together until they are parallel. The hinges will lock into this closed position.
To adjust the rotating wall pad, push in the left and right buttons on the pad and rotate it to the desired position (e.g., for flat walls, inside corners, outside corners, studs, pipes). Ensure the wall pad is locked into position.
Lean the ladder against a stable surface, ensuring the wall pad makes full contact.

3.3. Extension Ladder Configuration
Start with the ladder in the A-frame configuration.
Unlock the 1-handed Grip-N-Go hinge.
Extend the inner section of the ladder upwards. The rapid locks on the back section will engage to secure the extension. Ensure all rapid locks are fully seated and locked.
Lean the extended ladder against a stable surface at a 75-degree angle (4:1 ratio). The top feet are beveled for proper placement.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Using the Ground Cue (Industrial/Technical Models)
The Ground Cue system provides an audible and tactile alert when you reach the bottom rung of the ladder, helping to prevent accidents from stepping off too early. Listen for the distinct sound and feel the difference in the bottom rung.

4.2. Utilizing Dual-Purpose Legs
The climbing side of the ladder features wide-flared legs for increased side-tip stability. The extension side has straight-line legs that are narrow enough to fit between studs, ceiling trusses, and roof or attic access ports, allowing access to tight workspaces.

4.3. Using the V-Bar (Industrial/Technical Models)
When in its extension configuration, the non-marring V-bar can grip inside and outside corners, walls, and studs, providing additional stability and versatility for various work environments.
5. Maintenance
Clean the ladder regularly with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the fiberglass.
Store the ladder in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, to prolong its lifespan.
Periodically check all hinges, locks, and feet for proper function and wear. Replace any worn or damaged parts immediately.
Ensure all labels are legible. If any labels are missing or unreadable, contact Little Giant for replacements.
