2. Setup Guide

2.1. Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge your Eono Bongo Pint speaker. Use the included USB charging cable to connect the speaker to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).

  • Locate the micro-USB charging port on the side of the speaker.
  • Insert the small end of the USB cable into the speaker's charging port.
  • Connect the larger end of the USB cable to a powered USB port.
  • The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

2.2. Bluetooth Pairing

To connect your speaker to a device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) via Bluetooth:

  1. Power On: Press and hold the power button (located on the bottom of the speaker) for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt or see an indicator light.
  2. Pairing Mode: The speaker will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing light or specific audio cue.
  3. Enable Bluetooth on Your Device: Go to the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone or tablet.
  4. Select Speaker: Look for "Eono Bongo Pint" or a similar name in the list of available devices and select it to pair.
  5. Connection Confirmation: Once successfully paired, you will hear a confirmation sound from the speaker, and the indicator light will change to a solid color.

The speaker will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the power button (located on the bottom) for approximately 2-3 seconds.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the power button for approximately 2-3 seconds. The speaker may also automatically power off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery.

3.2. Audio Playback

Once connected via Bluetooth, you can control audio playback directly from your paired device. The speaker's volume is typically controlled by your connected device's volume settings.

3.3. Two-Band Equalizer Mode

To activate the two-band equalizer mode, which amplifies both treble and bass for an optimized listening experience:

  • Activate EQ: Quickly press the power button three times. You may hear an audio cue indicating the mode change.
  • Deactivate EQ: Repeat the action (three quick presses of the power button) to return to the standard audio profile.

3.4. Voice Assistant Access

The speaker features a built-in microphone and can connect to your phone's voice assistant (Google Now, Siri) for hands-free control.

  • Activate Voice Assistant: Press the power button once to activate your phone's voice assistant.
  • You can then use voice commands to check the weather, get updates, or start your favorite playlist.

4. Maintenance
