4. Setup
4.1 Initial Power-Up
- Insert the Maxcio PM001 into a standard UK wall socket.

4.2 Setting Time and Date
Accurate time and date settings are crucial for correct tariff calculations and historical data logging.
- Press and hold the SET/OK button for approximately 3 seconds to enter setup mode.
- Use the ENERGY+/- and COST+/- buttons to navigate through the settings (e.g., Hour, Minute, Day, Month, Year).

- Once all settings are confirmed, the device will exit setup mode automatically or by pressing SET/OK again.
4.3 Setting Electricity Price (Tariff)
The meter supports single and dual tariff settings for accurate cost calculation.
- Press and hold the COST+/- button for approximately 3 seconds to enter cost setting mode.
- Use ENERGY+/- to select between Tariff 1 and Tariff 2 (if applicable).
- Press SET/OK to confirm the tariff selection.
- Use ENERGY+/- and COST+/- to adjust the price per kWh for the selected tariff.
- Press SET/OK to confirm the price.
- If setting dual tariffs, repeat steps for Tariff 2, including setting the start and end times for each tariff period.
- Press SET/OK to exit cost setting mode.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Connecting an Appliance
- Plug the appliance you wish to monitor into the socket on the front of the Maxcio PM001.
- Ensure the appliance is switched on.
- The meter will immediately begin displaying real-time power consumption data.

5.2 Viewing Different Parameters
Press the ENERGY+/- button repeatedly to cycle through the various display modes, including Watt, Voltage, Current, Frequency, Power Factor, CO2, Total kWh, and Cost.
5.3 Viewing Historical Data
The meter stores daily and weekly consumption data.
- Press the HISTORY button.
- Use ENERGY+/- to navigate through daily or weekly historical records.
- The built-in rechargeable battery ensures that data is retained even during power outages or when the meter is unplugged.

5.4 Resetting Data
To clear all accumulated data (kWh, cost, etc.), press and hold the RESET button for approximately 3 seconds. This will reset all stored consumption data and settings, requiring re-entry of time and tariff information.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
- Storage: Store the meter in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Battery: The internal battery is rechargeable and designed for long-term data retention. No user replacement is necessary.
7. Troubleshooting
