4. Setup
Before first use, wash all removable parts (ice molds, reusable cone, lid) in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth.
Preparing Ice:
- Using Ice Molds: Fill the provided ice mold bowls with water (or a flavored beverage for pre-flavored ice pucks) and freeze for 8-12 hours until solid. This creates ideal ice pucks for the finest shave.
- Using Regular Ice Cubes: Standard ice cubes from your freezer can also be used. Ensure they are not too large to fit comfortably into the shaving chamber.
5. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to create delicious shaved ice:
- Place the reusable plastic cone (or your preferred serving bowl/cup) on the drip tray beneath the ice chute.
- Lift the lid from the shaving chamber.
- If using an ice puck, invert it from the mold and place it directly onto the cutting blades in the shaving chamber. If using regular ice cubes, add a handful of cubes into the shaving chamber.
- Securely place the lid back onto the shaving chamber. Ensure it clicks into place to activate the safety switch.
- Plug the appliance into a standard electrical outlet.
- Press down firmly on the top push button of the lid. The motor will activate, and ice will begin to shave into your serving container.
- Continue pressing until the desired amount of shaved ice is collected. Release the button to stop operation.
- Unplug the appliance. Remove your shaved ice and add your favorite syrups or toppings.

- Hand Wash: Wash the lid, ice molds, and reusable plastic cone in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Wipe Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit and the inside of the shaving chamber (avoiding direct contact with blades) with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Dry Thoroughly: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing.
7. Troubleshooting
If your shave ice maker encounters issues, try these common solutions:
- Machine Does Not Start:
- Ensure the appliance is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
- Verify that the lid is properly aligned and securely closed. The safety switch prevents operation if the lid is not correctly positioned.
- Confirm that the push button on the lid is being pressed down firmly during operation.
- Ice Not Shaving Properly:
- Check if the ice is too large or too hard. Use smaller ice cubes or allow ice pucks to temper slightly if they are excessively frozen.
- Ensure the ice is making proper contact with the cutting blades.
- Excessive Noise:
- Some noise is normal during operation. If the noise is unusually loud or grinding, check for any obstructions in the shaving chamber.
